  1. C = stand # = lower your gun (primary only) \ = salute
  2. If shooting the guy gives me more ammo... this, I can kill a player in several shots while actually killing zombies or clearing a town can take a mag or more. decreasing resources leads to an increase in murder
  3. I think all stats are interesting to people who care about those particular statistics and that balance is key. Perhaps have stats that specifically appeal to either Bandits or Survivors, like most epidurals given or blood transfusions. If possible most 'player saves' (if you kill a zombie or player that was actively harming another player). Then a bandit table, most murders, least trustworthy (being the person who has shot the most players in the back) or something similar. (anyone remember dope wars? tryna stay off the records table so you didn't get jumped. was great) Maybe dressed up as Chernarus hearsay or some type of tavern news on the website. Something that encourages people to push their play style further or commit to them can be positive and I welcome more stats. I'm either way on heat maps. I can understand why people don't like the feeling, and while you can say there's no place on earth that hasn't already been inhabited, I still don't want someone to be able to google map my crib and it feels a bit like that. Its a game though and the stats don't belong to us just because they're 'ours', so do what you what with them.
  4. the map at the begining, giving a lil outline of what your doing and descriptions like "Things should be easier now that the average life expectancy has gone up from 29 minutes to 30, surely!?" round it off nicely. good series.
  5. I think that gun repair similar to stalker should be implemented at some point and I cosign this under similar form.
  6. Great to have another uk server. Is it currently down tho?
  7. I found an m4a1 cco but little ammo and have never found an SD weapon. Are you in groups because I find it quite hard to find what I need and stay alive long enough to really use it effectively alone. I dont think they should be removed personally, I just think more (optional) challenges should (and will) be added for people who have acquired the better gear. Its like me lifting weights, its easy to say the weights are too light after having been to the gym for a few months, but a new comer can't lift half of that. On the flip side, why keep going to a gym that doesn't have anything heavier and only caters for new comers. I'm sure our "gym" will see additional equipment added in the coming months.
  8. not realistic other than in a karmic sense, but I actually really like it
  9. YES. Assholes could (as always) ruin it, my argument's even with pistols if someone wants to kill newspawns they can. (20 words, just)
  10. Tried signing up for the forum but after entering the capture and pressing enter the page just reloads with a new capture. I cant find any point where Ive failed to enter something in and Ive tried changing the username but now it says Ive made too many sign up attempt. Any ideas?
  11. ... its in Alpha have you played some other games in Alpha?.. There's a lot less to do.
  12. Again great work brother
  13. Please try and find a way to make it economically viable as a one off purchase. Do what you feel is best. Artists shouldn't make art for there fans, you should trust yourself and let the fans follow who they like (as they will anyway). You are the one truly loyal to this and as such, go with your gut on all decisions. in sum: Game purchase only Studio Kickstarter - yes PS. buying weapons, skins anything substantial, would damage this game. I'd be up for buying physical merchandise or paying premium price for a limited edition box though.
  14. how old are you lot, which country?
  15. I like the idea of "consequences" like bein brandished an outlaw in red dead or a "marked man". But not of "mass murderers" losing their ability to murder more people, via depression or any inability handle the reality of murder. They are already sociopaths if they behave that way, Ill give them the benefit of the doubt and say they can handle it. I think them bein marked with bandit posters or something identifying there last known location would be more effective.

  17. "There are three kinds of servers: Regular, Veteran, and Hardcore. In Veteran servers, you can see your crosshairs but cannot see player nametags. In Hardcore servers, you also cannot see your crosshairs, though you can use your ironsights" from http://dayzwiki.com/
  18. all servers are open to the public unless they're locked for testing or something, so even if you run your own server you cant guarantee you'll have a slot. There are people here running servers in the uk tho, so if you want to stick to one (UK6 is good) just keep jamming that enter button till your in.
  19. first one I've seen. really enjoyable, watched to the end.
  20. what times are you on? how old are you?
  21. agreed. If you were confined to 225 km and murdering people you probably would cover your face. I mean I think they look good and I didn't have a problem with people making a judgement based on it. My only real problem was getting them for killing in self defence.
