And that's another thing needing attention. You would assume that person dying of thirst would fill him/herself full with one click from unlimited water source, but that's not the case atm.

Hey i didnt say one can should make you full did i? Agree what you saying there but still personally would prefer graphical presentation over text.

Since many people are confused about messages popping up every minute about how bad your stomach or some other organ is feeling. That makes them think that this game has unrealistic demands on drinking and eating. I myself didnt understand it when i started playing SA and happened to find information after some googling, i was still living the mod and thought that drinking that one soda can is enough to get you full when it's not. So make those indicators happen soon so people can see exactly how much they "gain hydration" when they take that one sip from a well or gulp this soda can or eat them damn beans :)

They should not remove this, it adds nicely to already high paranoia levels this game has.

1) Find a well 2)Drink from it, notice you have to repeat the drinking about 50 times, game will notice you when you full 3) eat some food 4) enjoy hunger/thirst free time! Should last long :)

Visit some of the military areas, there's enough russian roulette :)

I was thinking about some kind of cloaking fumes against Zeds, rub it in your body and they wont bother you in some limited time ;)

How about dropping some very rare seeds as game loot, then building your own secret herb farm deep in forest to protect :lol: Of course the final product should be something so valuable that everyone would comb the borderlands in hopes of finding treasures instead of drooling over some military loot.

All i want to say to this topic is that more options they give to servers in future better this game will be: 1st person only/both, sidechat enabled/off, Pvp on/off(as shooting people doesnt do any damage). Also as it was in mod there should be private servers and not only those public ones that encourage ppl to server hop for quick loot and search for KoS victims.

Nothing much yet. Moved my butt near myshkino and had to fire my first shots in SA there. I was busy concentrating on something else and then realized there was Z coming towards me like a raging bull :) Damn thing cost me 3 bullets(trying to find out how you change firemode to semi in standalone..) Maybe later at the night going to visit first time those new military areas, though idea of doing that scares the beep out of me, well it's new years eve so why the heck not :D

Well, first person only player reporting to this thread! :) I got around 400-500 hours of gameplay going solo all the way from the start(got vivid imagination, dont really need people around to have story), when i eventually realized you can adjust your head bobbing it was no going back to 3rd. I'm kind of player who really really feels like "i'm not playing a game, i am there." I just dont understand people who never leave coast, never explore, care only about getting best loot as fast as possible to go KoS, never want to experience those cold rainy nights when you can't see s*it whats going on. Anyway. Got nothing against teamplay as long as it's relaxed and not feeling like you are at work :) And we definetly need 1st person only servers, but don't ban 3rd because life is good when there is a choice.

There will be 1st person only servers in future. Personally i always play 1st person even if it's not forced.

Didnt know you could do it that way too, but it was not the point. Point was that if you are very thirsty you'd have to repeat this thing around 50 times to get fully quenched of thirst. Better way to achieve it would be starting the drinking sequence and it would take around 30-60 seconds to get full, of course this sequence could be interrupted by player.

Since it seems wells play much bigger role in SA then i think they should really not leave the drinking mechanism as it is now. You know "scroll-f,scroll-f,scroll-f" and repeat 100 times to get full. Tedious. Now, i assume they wanted to achieve the feeling of being in danger and exposed when performing such trivial task but you could achieve same thing by just making it singe click and "decrease thirst level per second", it could still take considerable amount of time to get your thirst quenched.
