Vehicles are a key part of the game, the trick is to make them rare, difficult to maintain and a chore to fuel.

Even when they add cars, like in the mod, they will be a holy gift from the dayz gods both sacred and beatiuful. In other words you will still be doing a lot of running.

Its not suspicious to anyone with the bandit mentality. The timing is perfect. I can even imagine myself shooting that guy. I can hear myself saying "why is he just standing there like that?". I'm sure a gazelle finds it suspicious that a lion "came out of nowhere"

From my perspective this is silly, I'll break down why. You get shot at then run 100 meters in a tree line. You then go to the edge of said treeline with no cover whatsoever. You then proceed to stay in the same position for an inordinate amount of time whilst gun fire lands all around you again with zero cover. After the gun fire stops you are unaware that that guy has decided he needs to get a better angle on you which is easy to do since you are just standing there without cover. You barley acknowledge your 6 and your 9 and the dude walks almost right up to you, again while you are still standing there no cover and blows you away. If those are hacks then I've been hacking my whole DayZ career. I would have picked you off like a cherry.

Your system is weak all around my firend. The GPU should be fine but you are low on ram (causes paging) and I'm going to guess the 80gb is an old laptop drive? The CPU is also weak. I think you may be a candidate for this. Give it a try it helped me out a lot on my old laptop. The obvious solution is to upgrade your hardware. According to this you can put an FX8150 (which may be hard to find) in that board, double your ram and pick up at least a 7200rpm hard drive (though an ssd would be best). I realize that this may not be economically feasible ATM but its something to shoot for if you run into some cash.
