Long story short i was thinking about adding to my one vanilla server. I currently have a few Overpoch ones and an Epoch one on the same box as my vanilla. What i would like to know is should i switch this to be five 3rd person vanilla servers and two or three first person ones all sharing the same character data but separate object data tables? (Obviously the 1st person would be one hive and the 3rd another) Its a fine box and if i turf all the overpoop we can support a fine hive. Thoughts?

I don't really care what you are skeptical about, the guy appears to want two things, 1) a laptop and 2) one that costs 599. Found him a better one for the same price. Would I buy it? No. I would build a desktop if i only had 599 to spend. And as far as laptops go I own a GS70 Stealth Pro so I wouldn't buy that if i wanted a laptop either.

First off, this appears to be a troll post. Second, if it isn't: Lower your object detail down to very low, texture detail to medium, Anitaliasing off, Post processing off, Arthroscopic filtering off, shadows off.

Nvidia 660 vs 870M - Performance Troubleshooting

I suspect your laptop is using the intel GPU as the 660 and 870m are the same chip GeForce GTX 660 (OEM) August 22, 2012 GK104-200-KD-A2 GeForce GTX 870M March 12, 2014 GK104 check that you have done this -

I don't server hop, but I do on occasion want to switch to a server that oh say, A) has more players B.) isnt bugged out C) gets better ping than the one I'm on D) My friends are all playing on E) Is better moderated, the list goes on. This silly mechanic punishes anyone who wishes to change servers for any of these reasons just to stifle server hoppers. The solution if it bothers you is to play on a private hive, or make all the servers private hives. But what has been proposed above causes far more trouble than it is worth. It defeats the purpose of the hive all together. And also go oilers!

Sounds like something is getting throttled, check all fans and heat-sinks for operational fitness and contact.
