Then contact their support. They will fix. Sometimes installs get corruped

Its the same model with no geometrical changes, only texture swaps. Seriously the one you say is fine and the one you say isnt are the same thing "Shed_W03.p3d"
-
Yeah I'm gonna have to disagree
-
So you don't think the example model would fit in DayZ?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Proenneke Hahaha even crazy woodland hermits rock a can of wd40 on their shelf.
-
if you just bought it takes them time to allocate the resources. a few hours sometimes

Agreed. The image was only used to illustrate that thatch is common in the Czech Republic and not solely tropical as the poster suggested
-
Why not? I wouldn't use iron mostly because it would need to be pulled from some building in a dangerous city it is sharp and could infect you with tetanus it would then need to be hauled miles into the forest to where you intend too build your shelter(not very practical overall), plastic is not very durable and unsustainable. If one had tools and supplies you need not leave the forest to build your shelter. I suppose its the same reasoning as why did they build them years ago, because the materials are sustainable and fairly durable. Also thatching is not very difficult or all that time consuming. We have been doing it since the bronze age "It is the most common roofing material in the world, because the materials are readily available. Because thatch is lighter, less timber is required in the roof that supports it. Thatch is a versatile material when it comes to covering irregular roof structures. This fact lends itself to the use of second-hand, recycled and natural materials that are not only more sustainable, but need not fit exact standard dimensions to perform well."

Its thatch, same as this Czech house

This is true, my father was a carpenter so I had a bit of a head start.

Do i Have Min, requirments to play DayZ
Baker. replied to JonMoyer410's topic in New Player Discussion
Honestly you are on the very low side, this will run but it will be a slide show. here is a video of a guy playing the mod with your specs, and the mod is less taxing -
I'm sure its coming
-
He has seen the error of his ways DG. HAVE WE MO MERCY?!

In my perfect DayZ this would be a toggleable server option. I would set one of these up for you. I would also setup the vanilla food everywhere pvp type. Some people use their pickup trucks to haul trailers and other use them to get groceries. BOTH ways are correct, since its theirs and they can do what they want.

It must be that we breathe the same fine Alberta air that I could recognize your hide in a tan yard.

Perhaps in rare instances (maybe .05% of the time) in addition to spawning zombies, a panicked civilian AI unit could also spawn, to which the zombies could then attack and eat. Could do the [_civillian,"scream",0,false] call dayz_zombieSpeak; for effect. Could be toggle-able in the init.sqf? Not sure if the zombies would naturally attack them, but would it be as easy as just adding a creatunit line pulling randomly from a civilian array?
-
Modding is here, alive and well. I could do this tomorrow but all my servers are vanilla. If I add this then they get taken out of the official list.
-
There is no engine limitation, quite the contrary, it is designed to spawn these types of units. the Zombies are the afterthought, the bit that was crowbarred in. They aren't intended to be hostile AI, they would be intended to give realism, another dimension to the mod other than 50 white males in their 30's finding guns and shooting at each other, it would be intended to add the feel of a more human element, the tragedy of an innocent being devoured before your eyes, as you contemplate whether or not to loot the town in your periphery. NO ONE spoke of hostile AI As far as SA goes I don't care much, its a WIP that these days has more W than P. When all is said and done and they produce a finished game then I could suggest things to make it more immersive, but that day is not today. ...and it was suggested as a dynamic event, called via BIS_fnc_selectRandom Small dynamic events like this would defiantly add depth to the immersion without it interfering with gameplay.

TIPS! 1. Turn off post processing 2. Turn off Anti Aliasing 3. Keep object detail to low or very low 4. Turn off clouds 5. Experiment with shadows on low or off 6. Medium texture detail. Good luck son
-
Your CPU is really weak for this game.
-
Yep. Since all my servers are vanilla the only way to enact this would be for the fellars to put it. But yes anything new is BAAAAD! Sorry to have upset you and draw your condescending scorn Guy Fawkes. Essentially this is what I intend. The intention for the civi would be to be immediately attacked by zombies. But the MOD Corn! This is for the MOD! Where you been lately anyways? I miss camco you. .
