You need both, the map is from Arma2 and a lot of the other assets are from the operation arrowhead expansion

I'm on a hunger strike until the new stable branch is released.

Surely OP is thinner by now... -
For my money, the mod. Lots of people here will tell you otherwise but right now its a better game/experience.That will change some day but that day is not today. Plus arma 2 is a great game in and of itself with lots of mods and missions and maps, oh shit maps maps maps. Many of my reasons are outlined here http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/218991-why-i-prefer-the-dayz-mod-to-dayz-standalione/

You are right, I take back what I said, it would be much better to do this than have the server do it at restart.
-
Hey man these guys have no control over battle eye and their bans. As a long time server admin i can tell you that if you are indeed wrongfully banned it will be the first time I've seen it.
-
I'm sure they will enable some kind of "_this setvectorup [0,0,1];" at server restart at some stage of development
-
Also Kichi mentioned one day he had heard the textures weren't optimized yet as well, so I'm sure that contributes...
-
Sounds like network troubles me son, check drivers, routers, interference etc etc.
-
His house had a lab, i'm sure thats the primary reason.

As a child who spent his days crafting shitty shelters like this, adn helping his dad do construction, cutting sheet metal with a hacksaw would be a dangerous nightmare.
-
Its gotten better, But i suspect they haven't added enough LOD's yet so you are rendering distant objects at higher detail than you need to. But I'm not 100% sure.
-
you could throw contest details in BEC i suppose, directing people to your forums

further to what Mosley said with a 90$ graphics card upgrade it will run "OK" so will most other games really. check out these guys: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150740 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121458 you need to have a full tower for these^^ but. in case you have one of the slim towers you need to find a low profile card like these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500337&cm_re=low_profile_video_card_pci_express_x16-_-14-500-337-_-Product http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814129271&cm_re=low_profile_video_card_pci_express_x16-_-14-129-271-_-Product

Game/Computer crash after few minutes of playing
Baker. replied to TheBobard's topic in Troubleshooting
Hard to say man, the best advice i can give is troubleshoot each component separately as best you can. here is a place to start http://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2012/06/the-technologists-guide-to-troubleshooting-your-own-hardware/ -
Game/Computer crash after few minutes of playing

Have you tired any other games to see if happens across the board? I'm assuming its a laptop, I personally have had an msi laptop show up wonky, i would exchange it for a new one if thats still an option. -
Game/Computer crash after few minutes of playing
Baker. replied to TheBobard's topic in Troubleshooting
Hmm, could be a few things. I had a similar issue years ago that was tied to shitty network driver. But typically the behavior you describe occurs because of cooling issues or defective hardware or a combination of the two. I would attempt to monitor my temps if i were you and see what information that tells you, in addition if you are doing any overclocking i would return to stock clocks and test from there and finally check your power supply as it may not be able to keep up with the increased demand on gpu and cpu (or maybe it's just faulty). Good luck troubleshooting, these things can be a bitch. -
All of this^

get BEC to execute kick (name, ID or Player#) #kick 3 Allows you to kick a player. but add entries in you scheduler.xml from 1 to 50 ala <job id="11"> <time>08:59:45</time> <delay>000000</delay> <day>1,2,3,4,5,6,7</day> <loop>0</loop> <cmd>#kick 1</cmd> <cmdtype>0</cmdtype></job><job id="12"> <time>08:59:45</time> <delay>000000</delay> <day>1,2,3,4,5,6,7</day> <loop>0</loop> <cmd>#kick 2</cmd> <cmdtype>0</cmdtype></job><job id="13"> <time>08:59:45</time> <delay>000000</delay> <day>1,2,3,4,5,6,7</day> <loop>0</loop> <cmd>#kick 3</cmd> <cmdtype>0</cmdtype></job> etc etc etc hope it works never actually tried it lol
