This has always been an issue with the hive system, private hives solve this if it concerns you.
-
Ok, so all that seems to happen in this patch...

you mean i might die now? that would be wonderful, i find it rather easy as of late. -
Database: Install and setup mysql https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/ensure it uses 3306 as its connection port Download and install HediSQL http://www.heidisql.com/installers/HeidiSQL_9.3.0.4984_Setup.exethen connect to your server with the credentials used in the mysql setup Create a database called hivemind. Connect to hivemind. Run the SQL's included in the server package on your new hivemind database. (this will create the database for you) http://se1.dayz.nu/latest/1.8.6/SQL%201.8.6.rar Server Installation: Copy the addons folder from C:/your arma 2 installation folder/ to C:/your arma 2 oa installation folder/ (there are other ways to do this but this is the easiest) Download and install(extract to) your client files (http://se1.dayz.nu/latest/1.8.6.1/@Client-V1.8.6.1-Full.rar) in C:/your arma 2 oa installation folder/ Download and install(extract to) your server files (http://se1.dayz.nu/latest/1.8.6.1/@Server-V1.8.6.1-Full.rar) in C:/your arma 2 oa installation folder/ Copy the items inside the "keys" folder located in the server package/files to C:/your arma 2 oa installation folder/keys and C:/your arma 2 oa installation folder/expansion/keys Copy the items inside the https://github.com/DayZMod/Battleye-Filtersto C:/your arma 2 oa installation folder/cfgdayz/BattlEye Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 x86 Redistributable http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8328 Server setup. Very basic just enough to get it running and connectable to add custom stuff you will need more config edits: Enter C:\your arma oa installaton folder\cfgdayz and edit HiveExt.ini in the section that says: navigate to C:\your arma oa installaton folder\cfgdayz and open server.cfg in the file navigate to: and change to what is between it and "//voting" to so it looks like Then in the install directory (C:/your arma 2 oa installation folder/) create a new .txt document. in the document add the following: save the file as restarter.txt , once completed rename the extension to .bat leaving you with a file called "restarter.bat" Double click the restarter.bat, the server should start and restart every 6 hours. But don't close the terminal window it is counting down for you. Enjoy. You will need unblock tcp/udp ports for 2302 if you haven't already and/or forward them if you are behind a router. I am doing this all from memory so if you hit any snags let me know i may have left something out.

Hey man R4Z0R gives a pretty good turtorial here http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/225450-dayz-mod-1861/?p=2268932

Yeah I've eaten moose that was taken down with one arrow. They should be hard to make not weak when shot. on a side not the title of this thread is an anagram for "Un f the bowner" & "the bowner fun"
-
Try these things if you aren't already. Turn off Post processing Turn AA to low Make sure your resolution is set to 1920x1080 with resolution scale set to 100% try moving object detail to "normal" Make sure your system is in high performance power mode. After this check your cpu and gpu temps under load. Perhaps a heatsink is loose or something
-
That will run DayZ like a top my friend ;) Power supply seem a little on the weak side but should be fine lest you start overclocking.
-
Is it worth buying Dayz standalone yet? [With Developer responses]
Baker. replied to Blade4777980's topic in General Discussion
Ruling: Experimental is currently fun as shit. Loot is fairly balanced, performance is fairly good. Overall its pretty solid now. Needs more zombies and animals but it is a WIP after all. -
You will be using this machine for presumably years, just my advice. best deal i can find http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883230032 Second Best: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227598R other options http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227537 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227630 APU Based Builds (you seem to like those ;) ) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883220714 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883220714

It seems like a hassle but call them man, cancel this order. that machine is going to screw you. first you are going to be tied to the apu socket meaning you can only install apus on your board when you go to upgrade plus you dont have a dedicated graphics option out of the gate. Call get them to reverse it. we can get you something better.
-
another huge issue was the processor, the game is really cpu intensive and AMD APU's are really weak brother
-
the second one was a whole pc for the same price and twice the machine as the one you posted. http://www.newegg.co...N82E16883230032 :(
-
to repeat, please do not buy the first. If anything buy the second. Best option is to build your own. But for gods sake dont buy any of the computers you posted.
-
this is how that runs^^^^ not great by any stretch. you should really build your own, but in case you are intimidated by that here is a MUCH better solution for roughly the same price. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883230032 and honestly it will run even better than the video below due to the much much much superior processor https://youtu.be/iKssWgUKx_w

as far as this pc goes: Object detail on very low TURN OFF POT PROCESSING! texture detail: medium AA: off AF: off Terain detail: low clouds: Off Shadows: off. Resolution: Native Resolution %: 100

Looking for someone who knows how to Add Scripts
Baker. replied to clutchy08's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Each one will require something different to get started, the common thread between them is you will need to manually play around with your serverr and mission pbo's. Start by downloading pbo manager and notepad++ (there is a bis script extension) then download the scripts you require (most will have instructions packaged within) then finally look around the Internet if you have problems. Hope that helps :) To add barracks at balota you will need to fire up the arma 2 editor, make sure to use the dayz version or it wont spawn loot! -
Its a "what do we think is feesable" thread now. Which suits the title o.O
-
I am Baker. Thanks! I'll be here all week! I can suggest moving and flopping around in every way possible, log in, log out, mash the keys. There arent many options lol.
-
Yes I know about the lime I was hoping we could use it cover dead body smells someday
-
i dont play with a mic, i just type in direct, met some nice fellows
-
Could we do this? Yes. Should we do this? No. This would be great in some other game for sure, just would detract from the realism they strive for, i think anyways
-
We aren't talking about barrel bombs, we are talking about fertilizer derived explosives. I suggested "a" saying we would require "b" to execute You countered: No you do not need "b" to execute "a" since I know how to do "c" They are unrelated. A valid suggestion in its own right, but unrelated.
