    I donot find ping has a direct correlation to the "server lag" or whatever it is that causes things to take 30 - 45 seconds + to register. I've been on servers with 30 ping and it can still take a good 20 seconds after I eat something for it to register. Yet nothing else lags, and runs smooth as butter (well dayz butter at least lol)

    Played Arma 3 for the first time the other day and the stamina system really weighs you down if you aren't careful. Once something similar is implemented in dayz, the game will change dramatically. I dont think any play style should get comfortable were in for a wild ride soon.

    Don't you love that? When you can still hear them attacking you in another room. Your guy will even make those wincing sounds like he's getting beat while you stand there from a distance watching it until the ai catches up.

    If you only had to buy a new copy of dayz when you died... That would be real hard-core.

    Was just on a full server had many zombies hit me from 10+ meters and though walls. Also up to 4-5 seconds after they die. Seems completely random.

    My friends don't necessarily think it's not fun, they just disn't see the point in surviving when were being told that all our stuff is getting reset. Now a month later they are juat growing impatient and playing other games now. Leaving me solo /cry

    My whole squad stopped playing 3 weeks ago in anticipation of tents working and the wipe. Kind of silly to announce something like that then delay it for this long. I can understand why they are doing it, I just think the announcement was way to premature and causes alot of people to temporarily stop playing. I hate lone wolf someone play with me tonight.

    1. The zombies are a work in progress, keep looking you'll finder 2. In the stable branch servers no, wet clothes do nothing. But weather effects will be implemented soon 3. Goto dayzdb.com and take a look at the map and the loot tables. This should help you alot. 4. Sometimes you see players every 10 mins sometimes you run around for hours and see no one. Expect that to change when they implement higher population servers. 5. You can just google dayz server hosting.... There are tons of servers for rent.

    I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how you are connecting no loot with it being a private or public hive server. Private hives do not exist, so your loot and respawn problem stems from either joining a FPP server after you played on a TPP, or vice versa, or you just got hit with the respawn bug that many people have come across which is a bug and there's nothing u can do about it really. A side note I played on a third person stable server last night for a few hours had no problems finding loot.

    Wowwwwww that was a long read. God bless this community for making my life at work bearable reading topics such as this one. @ Mercules, Xbow, and especially Etherimp... +1 boys great posts... Etherimps breakdown of why this isn't primarily a PVP game only to have buddy respond with the same garble was just priceless. Man what a good read this was who needs soap operas when we have the dayz forums! My opinion... Rocket should go when he and the company he works with see fit.

    I think with the weather implementation we definitely need to be allowed to wear a shirt, hoodie, and rain coat at the same time. Like really I have to take my t-shirt off to put on a coat?
