Glad this topic finally took a little interest, I was surprised it didnt in the first place. I definitely think radio's stations would be pretty cool, however I agree just take the walkie talkies out and forget about it lol. I also just liked the idea of having some way to listen to music. If it were some sort of "live" radio that would be even sweeter.

Confused at what you disagree with. I searched for berries for about 10 minutes in a couple different bushes, found one. The amount of time it took me to find one wasted more of my energy than the berry gave me not sure where the sense in that is considering as a fresh spawn you have 20-30ish minutes probably tops before you pass out. Sprinting effects hunger now? Didnt think they had tied that together yet. The melee system is still pretty poor no matter how you look at it, not sure how you can disagree with that. From the way the weapons are held and swung to the different effects that each one have. You disagree that smashing a fleshy body 10 times with a machette shouldnt have more of an effect than it currently does? And the food and hydration system is clearly unbalanced at the moment and continues to need work, its really difficult to find some good "caloric" foods, thats what hes saying. He wants it to be difficult like it is now, but once you find some of said foods it should have a much greater impact on your energy and hydration levels, thus adding some reward to finally finding that can of beans cause now you can go do something else instead of having to continue to search another 50 houses to find the next can before you die, not sure how you can disagree with that either. Just curious as to what you meant exactly.

Completely agree. Im sure the loot spawns are going to be tweaked in time to make much more sense. The only thing I dont agree with is people complaining about the zombies. One person said they see you from a mile away which is definitely not true this patch really made leaps and bounds with zombie detection imo. Im also pretty sure they dont want you to melee zombies easily ever. Which I am okay with. Their stamina is so low just run around the block and you lose them easy peezy. Just need to fix their audio now. Cannot wait for .56 I think this has been my most anticipated patch ever as I find this build not fun at all.

Well clearly this all needs some work. Items definitely are not spawning in fast enough and as he says are in the most illogical spots. I like the idea but its definitely not working as I at least hoped it would. I cant believe the people who are saying that after spending copious amounts of time scavenging in this game you should not be rewarded with at least something. What the fuck is the point then? No I dont mean literally rewarded with something but at least feel some sense of acomplishment by finding that scope, or gun, or mag youve been searching for 12 hours for. I also have my doubts about the guy who posted his ".55 fresh spawn character" not saying its impossible but after looting all four corners of the map for the last two days now and not even seeing an ak of ANY type, I find it pretty difficult to believe lol, but whatever floats peoples boats. Ive been inland, outland, overland, to almost every city north south east and west... and every mil camp on my server and have yet to see any type of AK, one mag for an AKM, one wooden buttstock, few boxes of random pistol ammo, one sks, a few camping tents? , all three chopper spawns have yet to respawn anything checked them every day since the patch, lots of clothing, very little food. I left out the stuff at police stations which many people have talked about already. But yes I found 3 RAKS and about 20 mags for MP5 and RAK all within 3 police stations. Hope .56 comes fast, some serious tweaks are needed. At least in my opinion, cause the way it is right now just isn't fun for me.

Apple and Berry picking right now is a joke. I didnt sign up to stand at a dam tree for hours pressing the same button. The amount of actual food you get vs how much hunger you burn at bushes and trees doesnt make sense. Takes you almost 10 minutes to find an apple that gives you enough energy to last 5 minutes? Pointless. "I have not found a thing" Really bud cause I can see the apples in the tree right in front of you. However after 30+ attempts you still cant find one eh? I tried 4 different apple trees and 3 berry trees. Clicked scavange about an average of 6-7 times per tree\bush. Got one set of berries that didnt even move my hunger bar what so ever and about 5 minutes after eating said berries I died from starvation. Somethings pretty broken right now thats for sure, im all down for forcing us to use other sources as food etc but at least make them viable. Again I have no interest in playing a game of standing at a bush for an hour pressing the same button....

Drove from zelengorsk to the nw and back yesterday no probs with desync. However about not finding trucks, we found the same on our server. First people on it since the update, ran from zelno to Lopatino and found only one. Checked every spawn basically except myshniko. Definitely think spawns were decreased.

I miss the days when zombies were strong but you could just run into a building and have them form a conga line walking while you headshot them one at a time. Oh wait no I don't. That was crap, this is great people actually have to use their brains a bit to avoid dying. I also use the term brain very loosely. Good work devs keep tweaking!

Forever is a long two minutes... Don't think they care too much about this feature at the moment, I'm sure in the future it will be tweaked for disconnecting and being kicked, but considering it works for now I'm guessin this one's on the back burner for the time being.

Had one of the private servers we play on crash about 5 times in an hour pretty sure it had alot to do with this. The lineup to get the 50th spot seemed endless.

They are terrible... It's pretty disappointing that you have to hold them with two hands right now as well.

That's not gonna change the fact they wipe persistence with Wednesday matinence. Plus not really sure what you mean by fix as its not really broken. Centralized loot may make all servers persistent which is great but I'd still expect server wipes fairly regularly. Also pretty skeptical if. 55 is gonna go stable next week I think that's just wishful thinking.

That resetting a server when you die gets your stuff back.

I haven't pinpointed what causes it but for some reason a random truck I find will do the same. Really slow nothing you do.makes it go faster.

We store copious amounts of gear not sure what youre talking about. Some Tuesday nights just have to packup camp not really a huge deal for the time being, as I imagine as we move through alpha and beta character /persistent wipes will come with most major updates. I'm fairly sure they've been looking into the sound glitches although it's not a huge focus at the moment. Should be fixed in good time tho, again as we move through the rest of alpha into beta.

There is two types... A bandana CAP cannot be untied. Any regular bandana can be untied.

This is why we decided to reset persistent ourselves when the update comes. New trucks and choppers spawns only come when they do a wipe amd it seems hit or miss if they actually wipe it or not. It seems they only do a wipe when they implement an actual update or hotfix.

Yes, finally finding the last dam windscreen and getting a chopper off the ground in vanilla dayz mod was one of the most gratifying things I've ever experienced in gaming. Moar pls.
