Is this still a bug? It cant be happening in every instance but I havent looked at the bug tracker in a long time :blush: but that would explain some things...

I was just coming to post something about this too as I also had a couple odd experiences. First, A couple nights ago I was alone hiding in the treeline at the very end of the road leaving Novo towards svetlo on the main highway. As I first approached I heard a couple very faint noises I couldn't quite make out what they were, once I got near the road I heard the noises again but they were much closer. I looked up on the ridge (where the traintracks are) and saw a cloud of smoke. By this point I had now heard this explosion noise at least 5 times. Being on a full server I didnt think much of it I assumed it was some people having fun, or better yet setting a trap. So a couple days later (today) I was in my server testing some things out with my tent placements. There was 9 people on the server, 2 of them being me and my clanmate. I made my way up through the fields just south of lopatino and headed towards vybor. I was going to meet a clanmate near the military base there. As I was running through the field BAM the gasstation just outside of vybor blows up. After thorough scanning of the area I continue on the the base. I get to the base and wait there for almost 10+ minutes until my clanmate and I decided to log for the night, so I started to run back to where I had a tent deployed. My path back took me slightly closer to vybor this time and as i was passing by the gas station BOOM..... it goes up again. I immediatly scope in the area, and see nothing. Circle the area for the next 20 minutes, nothing... 4 people on the server now. 2 of them are me and my friend. Kinda freaky conicidences or what?

It's a tricky subject... Too close to the map borders are almost sure to be found by people who dedicate themselves to finding other campsites... Too far inland without carefully planning all possible random pathing will be randomly stumbled upon. No where is truly safe, it's best to have multiple camps spread out, because trust me, they will be found.

Had my last character for 3 months until I respawned on the coast... Was dayz telling me it was time for a freshie, since then I have role-played my Chinese woman for at least a month.... I don't remember the last time I died legitimately to be honest...

I'm not 100% sure until I do some server scanning research when I get home.

However on most servers as of right now until 0.49 is out tents will not save unless on a BI hosted server.

So therefore yes it would be horribly inaccurate? I assumed this was an easy yes or no but seems like no one knows? Doesn't this gun exist? you'd think like a shotgun at anything over 100 meters (made up range off the top of my head) it would be tough to aim....

But in a nutshell wouldn't less spin mean drastic accuracy loss after a certain range?

I like the berezino more south east spawn points are needed to revitalize electro and cherno, I once was an avid supporter of random spawns everywhere but unfortunately douchey people who think suiciding for 20 minutes takes less time than just running, ruin it. Like suiciding in solnichny to get a berezino spawn? Come on that run takes 10 mins tops lol

Excuse my lack of gun knowledge but wouldnt hacking a Mosin in half make it horribly inaccurate?

I guess my only question is, what does "pc has priority" mean? If it means pc finished product first, then they look at moving it to ps4, then great. If it means dinverting any resources at all at this point to even fathoming the ps4 version, then terrible.

I just don't understand how at this point in development they decide to do this. I know nothing about any of the behind the scenes stuff but as a general educated guess I don't see how this isn't going to slow production. I know with diablo 3 for example, the full version was out for a year or two before it hit console. Are they gonna have a paid public alpha console version lol? Wish I knew more about video game production id feel more comfortable saying I think this is extremely poor timing to release a decision like this. Only time will tell I suppose.

Not a big fan of the excrement idea, I understand why people think it might be a neat addition to the game, just dont think its ever going to play out as people may hope.

Literally just went through the same thing. 60 second countdown, then stuck on pls wait for 3 more mins until i had to reconnect again, and wait another 60 seconds.
