Not sure if this is a bug or not, But I thought I'd'd throw it up here and see if anyone else has tried it. I had a friend with me, and we'd been running for around an hour or so wayyyyyyy up north, and we started trying things out, Like seeing how many rounds a press vest can soak, White building make round frag and such. Then we decided to shoot a fireaxe, while a one of us were holding it. He went prone, hit space so he was holding it about 2 feet above his head, I shot it, It sparked, He was instakilled. However, NONE of his gear too damage, His helmet was still pristine, as was his vest and backpack. So, I'm not sure if it's a glitch, Or " Lucky Fragments ".. Anyone else tried this?

I actually found this fix on the nvidia forums, And it works perfectly, Beans for you. P.S I came here to post it for everyone else to try. :p

Maybe try port forwarding? I've never really heard of anything like this, But it seems like some kind of Client to server communication error. I'm not sure what the ports are for SA, I'm sure some other users would, But the main ArmA 2 one is 2302 UDP.

That's why I included his gear condition, The only viable reason for a " Insta-kill " Would have been if it bounced and hit his head, However he had a ballistic helmet on which was still pristine afterwards.

Try shooting an M4 without a stock, then with a stock. It's a mechanic, And, The mosin isn't the most accurate rifle in the world.

As far as I know, The only vest that gives protection, Is a Press vest, Which after taking 5-7 rounds in to chest while wearing one, I survived, after some saline and an epipen..

As Salamander said, It means you're healthy, And if you take damage, You get a healing factor, If I'm O- This is the time when I donate blood, as I'll gain it back in 20 minutes or so.

I have the same issue with SA as I did with Arma 2, They both share similar issues for me, If I alt tab, It takes around a minute to get to my desktop, then another minute to get back in game, and Shadow play works on neither of them.

There's quiet a few things as you explained, That won't work when you try use them if they're badly damaged or ruined, Sometimes you can't dress in ruined clothes, You can't craft a splint with ruined bandages, You can't use a ruined can opener, Weapon optics have shattered lens's, It just give you a status message saying the item is ruined if you absolutely cannot use it.

Beat me to it, Julius. I'm not sure if it's a bug, or if it's supposed to happen, But sometimes when you fire the last round, It leaves what I like to think as the empty casing still chambered, And you have to manually eject it through your inventory.

You really don't need to alt tab though, Once you establish which direction is east, Left is north, Right is south, 180 degree turn is west.

As much as I like Frankie's Videos, I noticed that as well, There are no more glitches in DayZ then there were before the patches, Of course the initial release of 1.7.7 was buggy, But the hot fix did it's job and fixed most of that. The same deal with Breaking Point, When it first came out, he played and loved it, And it was buggy as hell then, It's A-LOT better now, But he decides to complain about it now, after all the patches and fixes that went into it?

New motherboard, RAM, GPU, It was all running fine, then started getting random BSOD, Most recent one was 7e, About 6 hours ago, If anyone has any idea as to what would be causing so many varying errors, please, Post it.. Note, Things didn't even have to be intense to cause BSOD, Sometimes it would be on DayZ, Other times just browsing the webs, Never had it in BF3 though, Which is odd, Considering I play a decent chunk of it at the moment.. I've done the ram, And almost all the drivers, Got a couple left to do. I'm thinking it may be corruption somewhere, As I have files on here from quiet a few formats ago that have been dragged over to Portable hard drives then back again. Hopefully I'll have it fixed soon..
