It's a problem at the moment with the new patch. Devs are currently working on a hot fix. Dean Hall @rocket2guns Source of crippling lag and desync issues appears to have been found. We are preparing a hotfix for test now. Will report soon #DayZDaily

You can, It's touch and go though, Sometimes you don't respawn, you just pop back under water. Have you tried checking the key bindings? Shot in the dark but a bunch of keys could be bound to prone..

Reinstalling will not fix a server side issue.. There's a post about it on the tweeters. Tomorrow morning GMT we will know the message that is causing the UDP problems. Then we will fix that.

Both the rifle and pistol do it, When a single round is chambered, They've done it since their release on experimental. I can't say if the other new pistols do it though, I've only fired the 9mm without a mag.

I have tried this, With both he rifle and the pistol, Gews is right, it seems to be a glitch as it only occurs when you chamber a single round, neither the pistol mag, 10 and 30 for the rifle fire tracers.

There's a few things I'm not a fan of, Mostly some of the item textures and such being a bit comic book-ish, And battery levels shown on items, That aside, Really good work, It looks really good.

Do you use Windows XP? If so, This may help. " People I have the solution, the game require high v memory values.. and windows xp cant handle it... so you must change the config file located in my documents. Change the value of vram. In my case I have 1 gb of vram and change the value to 900 megabytes.. but the file use only the bytes unit . you can change to the nonlocalvram to the value of your ram memory in bytes ! then try play " Taken from the steam forums, I cleaned it up a bit, Because it wasn't really English.. That non-highlighted P is annoying me.. -
Island life isn't a mod by the DayZ community, which is why it's not part of DayZ commander. Generally speaking from my own experience, Each server runs their own " Version ". Most of which are derived from TCG's. You'll need to find which version the server you wish to play on is running, And then download accordingly.

Do you use teamspeak/Skype? If you do, Try rebinding your PTT key if you use PTT. I have a button on my mouse that I use for PTT, And it acts like MB1 in some games, cause my gun to shot every time I try talk.

I doubt it will affect Canned food, As you can eat it cold. However, Raw rice is rather dangerous to eat, Dean mentioned that you'd have to cook it once cooking is implemented, Aswell as meat once hunting is in.
