This isn't being done in the real DayZ. It's done on a private hive that ports in stuff from A2. It's probably the same server that has " Working vehicles ", Yet they're just A2 vehicles. ;)

If I had to bet on it, Private server. They're OLD soundfiles, and that ak74 is taking 100 round stanag mags in the form of 30 round mags. + we've heard nothing of the ak74, and it's not in the exp game files. :) Edit : just looked through the posters videos, He has a whole bunch of crappy videos with stuff ported for A2/3.. So. Fake.

When you opt into experimental, you can only join the experimental servers.. Are you sure you're trying to join the correct servers?

To be honest, I think there is only one kind of bleeding at the moment, One of the main factors from a bow/crossbow is HEAVY bleeding.. So.. With only one kind of bleeding it's kind of uses, Cool, But.. Possibly useless.. Maybe it just hits like a gun though..

Best settings to run at for dayz?

I've always found with DayZ that everyones pc handles it differently, A mate Who I've played with since early mod days had the same rig as me at one point, and with the same settings we got vastly different results. I'd reccommend you try it yourself, There's the key FPS killers, however, Squeezing those extra few fps is up to you. -

388 hours, Found 1 pristine pair, and 5 or so from worn to ruined.. It's a shame too, they're my favourite.. On topic, even with the glitchy carry animations, BOWS! ;P If you fire it, can you let us know how it goes, Like, Do the arrows lag like tossed items, etc. Thanks for the picture.

Load both the magnum and sks with loose rounds. When you're empty or need to reload, hit R, and it will load the speedloaders. You can't reload with loose rounds unless you drag and drop.

Do not make it so bikes/cars make sense to use off-road/off-trail

The speed thing you mentioned was in the mod, Guessing it will be in SA.. Some of the cars went around the same speed as you can spint when driven off road, and a bit fast on dirt roads.. However, the 4wd and ute style vehicles handled off road better, and could do around 30 kph off road, and 50 or so on a dirt road. -

Not unless they added more arma 2 files in this patch, They weren't there with the old one. I'm not saying it's going to be added, I'm just wondering why it was even ported over with this patch.. -

I'd thought about this, However I couldn't think of a way to make them effective, The only solution I could think of would be a decent direct hit would cause the victim to lose consciousness. Otherwise they'd be kind of useless.

The ammunition that we're using at the moment is most probably FMJ considering it's military, And well, The .45 ammo is called .45_FMJ when you split it. Dat explosive ammo in a 1911.

Tested one yesterday vs both a kitchen knife and a screw driver, Both hit the vest, both still caused damage and bleeding to the player.

If you were approached by a group of 3 - 4 people, They say " If you take this gun, you're a deputy " and offer a gun, on the condition that you followed them, What would you do? We did this to see how many people we could get running as one large group, We had around 12 when the desync kicked in and got pretty crazy, And then we sat down to play a game of duck duck goose, and got sniped by at least 3 different shooters.. Shouldn't have went to solnichy. :(

Only time I've had this is when, As enforcer said, My GPU driver shit itself. -
The vest does offer protection, As you pointed out, when wearing it and getting shot, you don't bleed as often. I took a mosin point blank the other day, Ruined the vest ( It was only worn to start with ) Greyed my screen a little and that was it.
