Doesn't seem to have been you. This guy approached the NE airfield from the western hill. The fight happened about 10 - 100 meters from the treeline beginning into the woods. And he seemed to be one of those guys who shoots others w/o regrets (legit, don't get me wrong), but exploits every possible other exploit the game offers. He was so fast with disconnecting, either task manager already open, or practiced dcing.

All togehter this is the most kiddy attitude i have seen. So you kill people yourself, i guess without telling them you gonna to (which is sniping aswell, you know? what is the difference between long or short range? Long range takes more skill), but you manage to write all this crap about how evil snipers are. Don't play WoW. Go hang yourself! In the internet you can be anything? Why do so many people choose to be retards?

This. The wiki would answer about 90% of questions I see on here. Unluckily this is bullshit. I am the guy that has only found one sniper m24 in ~ 3 weeks now I play the game from the beginning on using maps, wikies and the forum. I am a fuckin experienced gamer, so i know about all this (although, to be honest, e.g. having a map from the beginning on takes away much of the overwhelming starting gamin experience). Looting the residential area at the western Cherno hospital? You are one funny guy. Did it about 10 times yet. 10 times ONLY crap. It takes me about 30 minutes to get the starting gear, too (alice, 1911, akm or s.th., but thats it, nothing more than a compass (just helpful, not necessary)), and then i play until i die, change weapons on the same lvl. tl;dr The quote is comple bullshit. Every nice loot is just about EXTREME luck. Some have it, some not.

Dear diary, today OP was not a fag! Brilliant idea. Have to try this out soon. Perfect way to penalize those unbelievably annoying server hoppers. Hope this makes them angry as fuck and think twice before server hopping again.

It is possible until you own fuckin backpack trolls you so hard that you have no weapon left but a shitload of magazines. Happened to many guys, including me, so be careful and try it out how to do it right (because it is possible) with low value weapons.

I think the definition for griefing is a bit more than that. But yeah' date=' you (maybe not exactly you, but PvE farmboys), farming around me, demanding penalties for PvP in a PvP game, just going pointless from loot to loot and being maxed without danger (and then maybe start PvP, cause what else is there to do, i mean come on, Zeds are dangerous on vet or hard, although you don't play these modes, but in the end, they can't shoot you from 800meters), then you are a griefer for me. To put it more exact: You loot my possible loot like a farming machine and get mad if you don't prepare looting like i do (observation etc.), but then being shot on sight. You get mad if you get shot north of electro, although everybody knows its an area for high gear sniping. I don't like the high gear sniping aswell, so i normally just don't move there. But you can't stand there is loot too dangerous to actually loot. This game is all about intel (read: intelligence, like observation and knowing movement), and i already ambushed quite some PvE farmboys, trust me, they don't care about intel. You still didn't get it? When i raid NE airfield and we are enough guys, we cover the whole fuckin area before we move in (had a nice tactical shootout there that did last like 30 minutes and had hardly any shots fired (INTEL!)). And what about you farmboys? He moves in with his friend, not covering anything and then being mad because he got shot. Why did he got shot? Because we were raiding the airfield and we had intel. Easy as that. I dunno what that conclusion by yours was about not working together. Srsly, this game sucks hard playing alone. So ofc, go get at least one buddy. Maybe chosing the word griefing was not the best idea, but demanding to only farm (even read about PvE servers) in a game that offers so much more is foul playing imo, which is griefing. You see, thats it! You with your farmboy attitude don't even understand this, how you offend people who play the game differently. In fact english is not my native language, but i had hoped i can still be understood. You just don't understand that in a game, where the next thing out of nowhere can be that you are dead, farming is pointless? Just play it, be happy with what you find, and have some more interesting goals than getting max geared. Still don't get it? The better gear you have the more dangerous you are normally. So it must be dangerous for you to gear up in the first place. Trust me, i would love to meet you ingame (although i don't think you would have any chance at all), but i don't play on non vet and 3dp abuse servers.

Ist it just me or are crash-sites quite useless. We found 6 so far and only 2 weapons. One useless FN FAL (nightvision) and a hardly worth M14. I crawled everywhere around the whole heli and checked everywehere and stuff, but hey, they were never even worth the effort. What am i doing wrong?

To be honest. I LOVE to shoot people like you on sight. It is sooo satisfying to kill those pve farmboys and see their bodies fade away. Their 20 hours of griefing for non dangerous loot being null and void. Thats what i love! Don't get me wrong, i am the kind of person that would NEVER backstab someone, if we agreed to not kill each other, then i won't, end of story. And if someone managed to sneak up on me (should be hardly impossible) and is low to semi-well geared and salutes or stuff, i won't shoot, sure. But normally, you griefing farmers just farm around, and i am waiting for you somewhere, so the next screen you see, normally without even seeing me is "You are dead".

I smell so MUCH LYING HERE, this just doesn't make any sense. At first, you have no idea and ask. Then, you provide more information than was ever given to you and this information is quite specific. if (isnil 'BIS_GITA_fnc_createMarkers' || false) then { BIS_GITA_fnc_createMarkers This code is really weird, even did some java experiment, but it seems i was right in the first place. Basic if-statement: if (x==true) then in this case: if (x==not existing or false==true) then Note: isnil should be something like isNULL and seems to be a function where an instance is checked for existance. Right, false!=true, so this function is just strange/bad. So as far as i can say: if an instance of createMarkers was not initialized yet, it is, otherwise nothing happens. Still don't know what BIS_GITA is. fnc is an abrev. of function. Although createMarkers is obviously a function, but good function and variable names are always of use.

After two guys today that escaped their normally unescapable death (may they rot in hell), i really think this is going out of hand. So here is my well thought out (imo) proposal to the whole problem. The thing about it is that this solution is pretty complex, and might be not too easy to implement. Here we go: - every player is in NORMAL MODE - NORMAL MODE: You can't log out after someone in 500 meters radius SHOT - after a SHOT a 30 seconds timer starts while you can't log out - after a period of 5 minutes consecutive not being able to log out you enter LOGOUT MODE (note, e.g. 5 seconds between to 30 seconds phases don't count as being able to log out) - LOGOUT MODE: You are able to log out no matter what for 1 minute - after LOGOUT MODE you enter NORMAL MODE Every player should have some indicator in his GUI that indicates his current mode. Radius and timers might need adjustments, but i think they should be pretty decent like this. This should fix most of those lame danger disconnects. If someone could not be killed for 5 minutes i think it is just fair he can log out if he wishes to. I dunno if you read this, but if you really consider this solution feel free to ask for further clarification or better pseudo code. I think the biggest problem considering implementation should be the radius thingy.

Guess the next thing is you are rewarded for every action you do. So after that, lets introduce achievements. And then ofc, lets make it a farming game where you don't have pvp and just farm unloosable gear. Oh wait, this already exists, it's called WoW (i forgot to mention the insane monthly fee btw). Srsly, don't come back, WoW is just perfect for you.

This is only one side of the medal, the other is even a bit darker than that. Not my story, but of a friend of mine: My friend did spot a guy and was in superior position when the other player retreated into a house (3dp was on, so he could perfectly camera abuse from in there, but this is another story). So my friend thought, hey, i just cover the one entrance and i will likely happen to kill him. Reasonable so far. The other player logged out (yeah, it was a disconnect to avoid death), logged in on another server and ran behind the position where my friend was. So guess what happened. He logged back in the first server, and just easily shot my friend from behind. Lesson learned the hard way. But those server instances of the game happen to make abuse so easy...

Does anyone else have the issue of not getting kills these days? I am pretty sure i killed two guys lately, but i didn't get any murder. One was a close hit with CZ550 (<50 meters) and the other one should have been dead aswell after some AKM hits. Do you get the kill if they disconnect and then reconnect some other time just to die from shock an bleeding?

NO GUYS. SRSLY. He said he didn't use cheats. See I quoted it. That srsly made me laugh! Topic: I might be possible that you with cheated gear are superior to guys who play without cheats which means it is no fun for them to be killed in the unfair way by you. But luckily you got busted!

I can acknowledge this aswell. Raided Novy Sobor twice on different servers (thought it might be a special server bug), and Novy Sobor is some kind of secret tip for nice loot, so i raided like 15 houses + 2 times church and NOTHING to eat neither anything to drink. If this is not a bug, what is it then? I might starve because of this. Edit: to whoever likes it. Please start using your brain... You WILL starve if there is no food spawn. End fo story, so stop this "I like it yalla yalla" crap. (Except for those with gear ofc, who can hunt down animals. So I'm fine atm, but respawn is just completly deadly)

If this would be true i would have been insta banned aswell. I permanently have fraps running, because from time to time i need to restart the game since i magically permanently lose about 10 fps, which is fixed after restart. This shit cost me my life already.
