no, the stick is a melee weapon. unless you've unlocked the ages-lost method of launching projectiles with it like some sort of wicked Atl-Atl. -

Man. with the way things are going lately, we might actually have to play this like a survival sim instead of a shoot 'em up. -
I don't understand how people keep having overheating problems. Are you sprinting everywhere wearing a jacket, vest, gloves, facemask, and hat? Try ditching the gloves and vest. Stop at streams and lakes to take a break. Jog to your destination or walk. Honestly the hyper/hypothermia system works fine; humans weren't built to sprint kilometers at a time toting the weight of 3 children strapped to their torso.

I like it. I'd love to see the all-fours scramble and the absolute frustration of CoD kiddies unable to sprint sideways uphill anymore.

You can take feathers from chicken coops now. They're in every town. I remember when I went through my bow phase. no backpack space went unfilled with sticks. -

There shouldn't be a starving issue on any server, persistent or not. berry bushes and apple trees still exist. streams still exist. It's still possible to craft a fishing pole, -

DayZ: putting the survival back in survival sim

AKM has range and power, sure, but honestly if you take a bullet to the chest from any assault rifle it should kill you. At the very least send you into shock. I find AKM rounds more often than 5.45 because I tend to avoid the military zones. 7.62 rounds, however, can be found almost anywhere. AKM is my jam, if I had to choose.

You guys did fire the first shot, even if it was a breaching round to open the door. Personally, I would have tried communicating a little more and coaxing a response. My biggest issue with this video though is that your gun is raised and pointed at your ally's body, which is a big gun-safety no-no. Never point your weapon at something you don't intend to shoot.

People take things way too personally. Your intelligence isn't being insulted, I assure you. A full-release game on Steam usually costs about $60 USD, doesn't it? If someone's paid $20 to play the game in early development, they should be a little more thankful that they have the game already so they can avoid the full-on cost. It's funny to think that the same people that're so angry with the way development is going are the same people that mindlessly click the 'I Understand' button without keeping in mind the message above it.

I don't think any of these suggestions are a good use of precious fuel. I do agree that bodies should be burned with the release of diseases forthcoming, but you can achieve a burning pile of bodies with just wood and kindling to start.

You baited him. I'm fully behind the idea that jogging/walking should be the main mode of locomotion. I tend to travel light in-game. When I come across bodies or watching youtube videos they're usually carrying mountain backpacks, vests, military clothes full of heavy items. Which is ridiculous. I really look forward to some sort of limiting factor such as weight or long-term fatigue debuff that lasts a day or two until your muscles repair. Maybe a sleep action you initiate before you log off the game for the night.

I don't think it matters if he has a Battlefield profile picture. He can like battlefield just fine; it's a completely different game and that's his point. He's arguing the point that DayZ shouldn't give speed boosts to kids that run around in the open with their guns raised. And I agree.
