Statik (DayZ)

Hey guys, just so no one gets the wrong idea I am NOT a hacker. I was roaming around Cherno after getting killed by a hacker, when I came across a tent inside the Cherno hospital by the apartments. I looted it to find a L85A2 AWS, DMR, Antibiotics, AS50 TWS, and all that jazz (there might have been more but I grabbed what I could and ran like hell). At the time I didn't know that the AS50 with a TWS is hacked. So I grabbed the AS50 and L85. My only worry now is that will the guns despawn/glitch out? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the help. And irk everyone glitches to debug forrest and died. And since I have 2 guns with night vision and/or thermal should I camp nw airfield at night or during the day?

Hey guys, I was working on editing some of my DayZ series, when I came across a part where I find a red UAZ at its spawn in Stary Sobor. It was completely broken (all parts) and had pretty much no fuel. It led me to wonder, is it possible to find a UAZ, or any vehicle for that matter fully repaired? Thanks for your time! P.S. Do ATV's spawn at the NW airfield? I came across a guy with one, I was trailing him for some time, but lost him for a few mins, so I'm not sure if he found one, or if I saw another player.

Today I looted the NW airfield mainly looking for a sniper, but instead I came out with M4A1 CCO, M14 AIM, M9SD, GPS, Compass, Map, 6.5k blood, and some other goodies (with plenty of ammo for all my guns). I didn't get my sniper, but I think that the M14 AIM might be decent for that. But am I ready to go player hunting? Or should I look for anything else (I know NVG and something like a DMR or M24 would be nice, but I don't have them). I didn't record any of this, but IF you watched my Let's Play, and IF I'm ready to go player hunting what should I do (AKA what would be interesting for me to do?). Also I killed a rabbit and a goat at the NW airfield and gutted them; it told me how many steaks were on the carcass, but it would not let me search the carcass to get the meat. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks bandit that answered my second question. And I knew all that Roko. I would prefer a M24, but was I was mainly wondering is right now should I be player hunting? or should I keep looking for my M24. Thanks for the help, I'll probably just player hunt now.

Hey guys, So I got ahead of myself and looted the NW airfield without recording for my Let's Play (but I'm going to loot again) and it got real, and I finally got away with about 3k blood. I had an AKM with 6 mags and I saw an M4A1 with 2 mags and picked it up. Later looking at stats I figured out the the AKM has better stats, if I come across an AKM should I take it over my M4A1? Thanks! P.S. Where at the NW airfield are the barracks? I've played this game for a long time now, but I still can't really locate them.

That's really weird, you should be able to run it perfectly fine on high quality settings. I would personally try re-installing the mod. Also if you are not using the beta I recommend you download the beta patch (just google "arma 2 beta patch" its the first link.) I would also recommend trying different servers because some might not be working properly, and make sure the server you are on is the same version of DayZ as you, and make sure you keep up to date with patches. Thanks for the help, and does anyone have any tips on how/where I can find a sniper (preferably a DMR or M24) I've been looking for ever but can't find one.

I was at NW airfield and I pulled out my revolver and shot a zombie in the chest and he didn't go down. This happened alot, did they nerf the revolver? And if they did, did they nerf anything else?

Is this the only gun they nerfed?

So I walked all the way to the NW airfield from the NE. When I finally got there I had to abort because whenever I looked around big white and green things flashed around in my face, making it literally impossible to look around. I tried a few different servers, but I had the same problems which makes it literally impossible to loot. I've looked around and heard that it's possibly from the undead zombie soldiers. Hey guys and gals, So I haven't played DayZ in a month as i've been busy and just got back from a 2 week trip, and I updated to 1.7.2.5. After finding a daytime server the first thing I noticed was my face is wrapped up in camo like the bandits from the old days is. But I am wearing the regular civy clothes. What does this mean (if it means anything at all)? I also noticed that I have a humanity of -11584. I have something like 64 zombie kills and no player kills this life (but I've had plenty in other lives, but never more than 8 or 9). What does humanity mean again (I forgot) and what does it effect? Hey, so I hopped onto DayZ this evening to record some for my Let's Play. But whenever I tried to join a server it kept saying that I am getting kicked due to my Battleye client. How did you reinstall it? I see how to uninstall it but I don't know how to reinstall it.

It all seems good, except for the fact that I don't have BattlEye in my beta folder..?

Which battleye do i download? They are all for 32-bit and I have Windows 7 64-bit

Hey all, 3rd post today. Lol. I have quite a decent computer (run 30-60+ fps depending on server) but when I record my FPS drops to anywhere from 15-20fps. It would be so much nicer if I could play while recording with at least 24 FPS. When I play I only run Skype (because I record with friends), Arma 2, Game Booster, and Fraps. Hey all, My friend and I were recording some last night. When I killed someone in the Cherno church and he was wearing a ghillie suit. It never gave us the option to take it off him. We even tried take Civ. clothes off the ground then putting them on his body. But still, it didn't let us take his Ghillie suit. Is it possible to loot a ghillie suit, or any clothes for that matter off another players body? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks a bunch!
