Statik (DayZ)

Hey all, So I have an M16A2 and some 30 rnd. mags for it. In the description of the mags it works in guns like the M4A1, and M16A4, but nothing about the M16A2 (But it still works in the M16A2) Later on I found a few SD mags for it. But my gun is not silenced (and still isn't in description of the ammo), will the SD ammo work in my M16A2, or should I just drop it? And help would be useful! Thanks! I've had the starting out flashlight, and I've found the military flashlight. But HOW do I use them? Do you need batteries? Because whatever button I press never does anything! Hey all! I was playing DayZ (Using the beta)fine yesterday. But when I went to load it today, it loaded, but it loaded ONLY ArmA 2, not OA. I tried joining a server, but it started flashing an open field while I was trying to spawn (as i have a ghillie suit and AKM and such I got a little worried and quit the game) how can I fix this (I updated the beta)? Hey all, My friends and I knew that 1.7.1.5 was really glitchy so we stayed on 1.7 servers. Last night we noticed that pretty much EVERY server was 1.7.1.5 or 1.7.1.4. So we updated our DayZ. After updating (P.S. I run beta patch which I didn't update) I joined game to find a few things, #1 My player was invisible, you could only see my gun, #2 there were random diamonds in my screen, like objective points, #4 the tents by the Cherno hospital are invisible, and #5 I had no debug monitor, and made no sound, no "sight" and I never got hungry or thirsty. Later on, after downgrading and trying to join a 1.7 server I spawned in the MIDDLE of the map, with 4 characters standing in front of me. They had everything from GPS, to antibiotics, to M16A2 (which I could loot at will). WTF is going on? Are all 1.7.1.5(4) servers like this? I updated it all correctly (I used US mirror). Could it be that I didn't update the beta? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch! P.S. My friend was also spawning with a flashlight, and thats it. He never had any invisible problems/objective points in the distance. But he did spawn in the same place as me with the 4 characters (we couldn't see each other though). EVERYTHING WORKS. I got the beta from the ARMA 2 website. I downloaded the actual mod 1.7.1.5 from the US mirror. Doing all of that SHOULD work. Works great for me. Problem for me is that I spawned way out of the map with my m16 and other epic items. But besides that, everything is working beautifully. Z_StaTik_z (www.youtube.com/user/zstatikz)

It sometimes can take hours for me to join a game. I installed everything right, but sometimes I will get stuck on a loading page, or will get "Retrying to authenticate". I'm not really sure what this ARMA 2 beta thing is, or how to install/use it. Do I need it to connect to DayZ servers? How do I fix my problem? :huh: Any help would be useful, thanks! :rolleyes:
