What do you want for the M4A1 Holo SD? And/or the SVD Camo? (Including ammo)

Hey, You might remember me from TMW ;). But I have a M4A1 CCO SD, and I might trade it :P. I already have a ghillie suit, so would you be willing to trade me anything else for it?

Sound is quite nessessary, and if your computer pretty much needs to have a sound card to play, or else you are really going to fail. Besides, you can get a cheap sound card for like $20. And I believe that rocket said they taking out the debug monitor and are planning on taking out the majority of the HUD. You will be alerted of your needs by sound (i.e hunger = growling stomach, and thirsty = raspy breath). I think that the removal of the HUD and the removal of the debug monitor will greatly improve the game by adding a sense of realism.

Hey guys, So I was hopping onto Dr. Wastelands post on the forums, to see if there was anyone who needed medical attention. I noticed his "position" (i.e. member) was a yellow and it said "DayZ Hero". Does anyone know what this means? And how did he earn this title? Thanks for any help. :)

...SVD Mags are not from hacker boxes. They work with the SVD Camo.

Hmm. My best bet would be you're playing on a private hive. There are servers in DayZ called private hives, they allow you to have a whole new character that is not open to public servers. I would say you are joining a private hive, then hoping to another private hive, meaning you are just starting fresh again. So if you can find the first server you played on, then if you stick to that private hive then you should be able to continue from where you left off. Good luck :D

So lucky me, on my first spawn on Panthera, ever, I find a fully working plane (it only shows engine parts, no other parts are visible, and it has full gas). But I can't get it unstuck. Its facing up a hill and no mater what I do, I can't turn it around. Sometimes I can get it to move forwards or backward a few feet then it jams, anyone know how I can get this thing moving..?

I really have to disagree with you here. NPC's have no place in DayZ and they never will, they just won't mesh with the game. Plus these camps you talk about would just get taken over by by squads and either just camped for their loot, or blown sky high. I really feel that your idea would not work, and implementing them into the game would just ruin the DayZ experience.

Hey guys, So this basically started when I first tried to load the Dr. Wasteland Trusted Medics of the Wasteland's post. Nothing will load and it will then say "Website is currently unreachable". It does this with numerous forum posts all of a sudden, and I have no idea how to fix it. Does anyone know how? Thanks for any help! :)

After you get a tent or two go to a SECLUDED spot in the wilderness (preferably on a low-pop server so it won't get raided). After that drop your items in and scroll over your tent until you find the "Save old camping tent" option (or something like that). Click it, then next time you log into that server your tents should be in that location, with your stuff inside (If they are ever empty it is because someone has found your camp and raided it, so I recommend moving it after that). To save a vehicle, part it where you want it, then scroll over it until you find the save option (you might have to move around a bit to find the "hotspot") Then your vehicle should go back to the spot where ever you saved it after every server restart. I totally see where you're coming from. But in a way I kind of understand you being killed. I have a hero skin and a ghillie suit. I only use the ghillie suit when I am covering fellow clan mates on something such as a medical assistance mission. That is for the reason that ghillie suits are very common if not always worn by bandits. Plus the fact that you are laying in a tree scanning with a L85A2 AWS would lead anyone (me included) to believe you are a bandit. So I would have shot you on sight as well. Next time, I would recommend carrying a ghillie suit, but not using it nearly as much, and try to get a Hero skin. So over all, I don't think that bandits need to have more consequences (except the old skin back, because the current one SUUUUUCKS). P.S. Don't get attached to your gear, you lose it fast. Last night I had a tent with an AS50, M16A4 ACOG, Bizon PP-19 w/ 3 mags, and a FN FAL, and when I went back, it was all gone. I recommend just scouting out areas very thoroughly before moving in, and if you see an enemy, don't attack them head on. Flank the hell out of them and use the element of surprise (that way you can also avoid combat more by standing them up and making them drop their gun). Good luck.

Hey guys. I am 15 (but quite mature for my age) and I have been playing DayZ avidly for about 5 months. I am interested in joining up with a medic/hero clan. I am looking for a clan of mature players who have fun playing, but at the same time can play very tactical (Nothing worse when you're in a tense situation and people won't shut up). I am not interested in starting a clan (sorry) so I would like a clan with camps and vehicles. If you need to know anything else, please feel free to drop a comment or PM me. :)

What kind of games do you most enjoy playing? First person shooters. I play DayZ only pretty much right now, but I play BF3, and some other games. What made you choose this community over any other organized community? If so, which? Why did you leave? Yes I have, my first was Detta Company. We were a closely knitted clan that had an amazing time playing. Slowly a few of the members stopped playing, and when the clan leader stopped playing, the co-founder and I tried reviving the clan (without much luck). From there our TS went down, then our server. I have recently been a member of the EIP clan, but has not been the experience that I hoped. People are betraying on and other, and complaining. Members do not trust one and other, keep secrets from each other, and do not own up to mistakes that they have made. What other kinds of hobbies do you have? I Snowboard in the winter and Downhill bike in the summer. That's all I can really think of at the moment haha : / Anything else you'd like us to know? Not at the moment no. :)

I was thinking about a vehicle throw over. It could be a camouflage mesh like material that helps conceal your vehicles. It could be only in one size so say it takes 1 to cover a motorbike/ATV, 2 for UAZ, Offroad, Tractor, etc, and 3 or 4 for Ural, V3S, and the Bus.

I have some friends who have a few M40A3 snipers from before they took them out. Is it a global ban-able offense to use them? even if they are legit?

Hockeyguy does have a good idea. I would aim for there head if they are standing still (looting, shooting zombies, or looking around). But if they are moving a lot, or just a little bit inside a building or something, I would personally aim for center mass. It means you have the best change of hitting them at all.

I was thinking, what if it was possible to make custom skins in DayZ? I was thinking of this because if you are playing in a clan, a special outfit would show that you are one force, and makes it much easier to identify enemies. I know that people will probably shoot this idea down because they would think that it would be over-powered because people would make skins resembling ghillie suits, etc. But I was thinking, what if the creators of DayZ put in a ton of base skins (15+) and make the colors on them completely customizable. I think that this could mainly work on DayZ standalone because you could link your account to your account on the DayZ website, then from there you can somehow link your account on the website to a clan page that they could add to the website. And from there you can download the skin that someone (say the clan leader) designed, and from there upload it to your player. I just think this would be neat and add a cool little twist to the game. I am completely open to ideas and constructive criticism. Please feel free to comment. :)

Yeah I was thinking of that too. Those are even better ideas. They could maybe even add different headgear too, so like a beret, or a rambo style bandana.
