Nope, we are keeping waypoints to keep in a realism factor. We are working on getting our player base up, so it's not very populated. But in the evenings there will be a few of us on (4-7 people, maybe more). Yes it is. What is your ping, and do you mind if I ask where you're located? (roughly)

Plus getting a North spawn would just make it no challenge. Elektro and Cherno are fuckfests of people trying to gear up fast and get to the safe ol' North. But if you get a NWAF spawn, you can get an endgame loadout in minutes.

After you get this "white-screen" can you still escape and Abort? Try going into steam, ArmA 2, Properties (I believe it's properties) and click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" That could fix your problems. And forgive me if it's worded differently, I haven't needed to do that in a while.

Hmm I don't know much about this, but I'll give it a shot: 1. Is there a possibility of it being your internet provider? 2. Are you wirelessly connected to your router? Or are you using an Ethernet cable? Not sure if any of this helps, but I also heard about a website called pingtest.net (or something like that) and it tests for packet loss, you might want to try out something like that. But your best bet would be to hope someone smarter than me comes along.

If something like this is implemented, there will always be ways to get around it. And yes, DayZ is a simulator, but if they were to restrict 3rd party programs such as Teamspeak and Skype, and make Direct chat open 24/7, that would just be a little over the top in my point of view.
