    I don't know much about guns, but what kind of .308 would do 3k damage? And that's not in the new patch.

    Looting other person backpack

    Good idea, but I don't like the idea of a HUD, nevermind text popping up on my screen. I would however enjoy for the "zipping" sound of a backpack opening when anyone accesses their, or anyone elses backpack.

    Great idea. While we're at it, we should make it so sometimes the seal breaks on the soda, then it goes flat. When you're player drinks it, he will proceed to scream "Fuck this. This tastes like shit" and what should attract zombies too. what you think=

    The only rifles that matter now:

    The FN FAL and M14 aren't 1 hit, 1 kill shots. And the M14/FN FAL are just as useful if not better in CQC that the M4

    Spawns will stay the same, unless changed by your friend. However, if you are looting later into the session (i.e. longer after reset) the loot tends to be more picked over, and you won't get as much good stuff.

    It's buggy. Not broken. You guys have a weird definition of broken. Just because something in an alpha is buggy, that doesn't mean it's broken. And like R4ZOR said, I would like to see from video/pictures of this happening.

  11. Is it a public server, or private hive? If its private, there is nothing that can be done. If its public, they're not allowed to do this.

    Antibiotics

    The high infection rate and low antibiotics spawn is there so players struggle more. They want to make a players main concern keeping yourself healthy. i.e. they're making the mod more survival based.

    What I'm saying is, you've been playing since zombies have been nurfed, so you automatically hate it when they hand you your ass. You haven't listed any reasons that make them "broken" you've only listed minor bugs that are being worked on. If you're really hateful towards these oh, so, broken zombies, then make a post with contructive critisim. Don't just bitch and moan that they are "broken." Either that, or stop playing DayZ.

    I see you have only been on the forums since January 2013, so I'm going to go out on a whim and say you've only been playing for that long as well? Zombies have always clipped through walls, and had other bugs. That makes them buggy, not broken. Zombies knocking you over? That doesn't make them broken. If I was chasing you, I'm fairly sure I could knock you down. As for infection; these zombies aren't exactly germofobes. They eat dead people, and are covered in dirt, mud, rotten blood, and I would assume urine and fecal matter. The fact that you contact an effection after you revieve a bitch slap only makes sense. Yes, your player is immune to the zombie virus, but you're player isn't immune from other infections. Long story short, just because they made zombies harder, and gave them a more realistic aspect, that doesn't make them broken.

    Mother of god. Zombies are not broken. Yes, they have bugs, and glitches, but this is an alpha for a reason. Yes, zombies can hit you while you're running, that's not some game breaking feature, it's logical. As for you falling, makes sense, and while it might be too common, it's put in place so you're not going to sprint through a horde like a dumbass like you could do in 1.7.6.1. As for infection, that's so players play carefully. If someone who's infected cuts you, you're probably going to get infected. P.S. What's your definition of broken? Just becasue something has bugs, that doesn't make it broken. EDIT: If zombies were broken, they would be teleporting to you, 1 hit kills, not agroing, invinsible, etc.

    The spawns have always been a problem, and that will be fixed in the SA. You just need to be observant for the time being.
  20. In the bottom right corner, when you spawn it will say two things, the first is "Chenarus" which is the country. The next is the town. Some good spawns are "Chernogorsk" "Elektrodavsk" "Cap Golova" "Airstrip" "Balota" Some "bad" spawns are "Kamenka" "Komorovo" "Crutoy Cap" and depending on where you want to go "Solnichny" and "Factory" and "Three Vallies" The "bad" spawns aren't close to much loot, while spawns like Cherno and Elektro are close to big towns with a bunch of loot. Keep in mind the "good" and "bad" spawns are personal preference, and just because you get a spawn like Kamenka, doens't mean you can't loot. Each spawn has a route that can get you good starter loot (i.e. Kamenka, run to Zelen, Vybor, NWAF). Good luck.

    So what you're saying is, you want it to be as long as your running, you're invinsible to zombies? Zombies are meant to be a challenge, and just because they made them harder, that doesn't mean there broken. It means there a challenge.
  22. As for finding people: Do you spawn and just run wherever? Or are you running into large towns such as Cherno and Elektro? You're more likely to find players in a town/airfield then you will in a forest. For your map, you have to find one. They spawn in residential areas, and the Super market. I would suggest going to a town checking any and all Stores, Pubs, Red and Orange brick houses. Good luck!
  23. I agree with you. I don't like the idea of underground bases whatsoever. Moving furnature, eh, not really my thing. But boarding up windows would be cool. The only problem I see with that, is DayZ is about surviving, not holding up and killing waves of zombies. Plus lots of players like to keep on the move, out of sight. I wouldn't be to keen on cornering myself in a house. EDIT: I feel bases in DayZ should be like bases in Vanilla DayZ now. Nada, not there.
