Make sure they're fully uninstalled. EDIT: Your GPU might also be below the minimum required for the game. I've read posts like this too many times. It seems like all you're just hating on the bandit playstyle. I've been playing DayZ for over a year. When I first started, I started with a bandit mentality. If you crossed me, I shot you. I tried the medic scene, but it didn't work out, and I still carry that bandit mentality today. I like to think of it in the way that the people of this community paid for Arma 2, meaning they can play it however they please. If they're not hacking, exploiting, etc, etc, it is 100% within their rights to do as they please. If they want to shoot fresh spawns, so be it. Do I agree with it? No. But it's apart of the game. I enjoy DayZ the way it is today. I wouldn't enjoy it if everyone was just one big happy family running around the map. Don't take this the wrong way, but frankly, I feel you're half bitching and moaning about KoS, and half bitching an moaning about "12 year old", combat logging, and/or sidechat. If you don't like combat logging, find a good server/community. If you don't like sidechat, find a server with sidechat disabled. And since you clearly dislike 12 year old who lack "testicle fortitude" find a whitelisted server that has an age limit. I also don't understand your bitching vanilla, and how if you play something non-vanilla you should go be a little girl and play Pokemon and WoW. That is utter bullshit. Just because a server isn't vanilla, that doesn't mean it's "10,000,000 vehicles", etc, etc. Without mods like Namalsk, 2017, DayZero, etc, I would have been bored of DayZ a while ago. People are playing these mods because they are trying to keep that spark, trying to keep their interest peeked. I'm sure I've missed plenty, but it just seems your post is just you making the DayZ community look like one big fuckup. You're making it sound like whomever doesn't play 100% vanilla is a 12 year old KOSing, combat logger. People have differnent playstyles, opinions, and beliefs. The sooner you except they aren't going to be mirror images of yours, the better off you will be here.

But OP, go in the editor and practice. Keep your movements slow and smooth, don't jerk it. Give the helo down collective, while slightly pulling up (I find this works best from lower altitudes.). This will allow you go slow down, and lower your altitude at once. I used to fly in ACE, so I'm very comfortable landing without auto-hover. If in the beginning you need it, by all means use it. But don't make a habit out of it. The whole idea of hitting autohover and just holding "Z" will get you killed many times. You need to learn to come in quick, low, fast, and be able to touchdown fast. Don't get frustrated, just keep at it in the editor. When I wanted to fly in ACE, I went into the editor (I did it on Takistan, but you can easily do it on Chenarus), mark a random spot on the map, and pretend it's an exctraction. I liked this because I never scoped out the area, so I had to learn to adapt to new locations, conditions, etc. Once you get the hang of landing/taking off smooth and fast, pop down a few enemy riflemen so you have to learn how to dodge fire. Oh, and here's a video for inspiration (the pilot is Jordan, he's a few posts up): EDIT: Notice in the video how all his movements are smooth and clean, he doesn't jerk at all. If you use a mouse and keyboard (like me, and the pilot in the video) your mouse is EXTREMELY useful when it comes to landing, and just smooth movements in general.

I would like to see it that you can either heavily armour your car, with some firepower. Or have lots of firepower and less armour. In order to "pimp your ride" I would like to see it be realistic. I don't like the idea of just being able to mount a gun on the top. I think mounting it on the passenger window, rear window, etc would be much more original and creative. I don't want to see rotatable crownests turrets. Maybe a LMG with a 90 degree radius tops with little to no surrounding armour. Another concern I have is, after a while, servers will become filled with all these up armoured cars, cars with lots of firepower, etc. So instead of finding a UAZ, you'll find a UAZ with metal plated windows, with a 240 out the passenger window.

Kind of neat, but in order for that to happen, they would need to impliment a program that records a player 24/7 and somewhere stores this footage. Not possible, not gonna happen, not worth it.

If you killed the player while he was logging in, it is possible for him to respawn on the same spot. It has also been known to happen as a bug. I've seen it happen quite recently actually.

There is a way to make custom skins, people do it all the time. As for how to do it, I don't really know, but I believe you can do it with VTFedit, Photoshop, or something similar. You'd probably have to read up on how to do it thought.
