Well, I just did a Google search of your name, and your (quite original) name connected to many hack sites. Some with activity as recent as 4 days ago. Don't you claim to be a hero? And TimEvans, you can put guns in your pack, just make sure you have 10 free slots for a primary, and 5 for a sidearm.

There is not going to be classes in the SA. EDIT: I'm also not too fond of underground bases to begin with, but underground "fortresses" seems a little strong. You can't just dig a massive complex underground and be set. It's a lot more complicated than that. Also, I don't see the point of placing bombs and tripwires. It's kind of neat, but that seems more guerrilla warfare than survival. Also, why would you get infected for living underground? If you have supplies its extremely possible and has been done.

1. Loot doesn't spawn in the middle of roads, airstrips, etc. It's all inside buildings 2. Most custom servers have the same loot spawn locations as vanilla. 3. There are random zombies that do more damage, and have increased health. Instead of dropping your blood to 6k, infections can kill you. Infections are more common. Antibiotics are extremely rare. 4. I still recommend a whitelisted community for good security against combat loggers, etc. But I haven't seen a hacker in months. 5. They're everywhere. BMRF is probably the most well known. Or check out Musty Gaming. 6. Use whatever playstyle you want. Custom mods are personal preference. Try the more popular ones out and see which you like best.

Go to the backpack on the ground, scroll and open it.. Open the pack you're wearing from the gear menu. Take whatever gear you want from current pack, and put it in the new pack. Close the gear menu Scroll and pick up new pack

When a heli first spawns, it must be completely fixed (glass included) in order for it not to leak fuel. Once you repair the remaining glass the heli will jump to full green and will be able to hold fuel.

Get JSRS, play on a JSRS server. Case Closed.

I found a photo online, and added in a filter and the DayZ logo. Let me know what you think. It does annoy me because it's not 1920x1080, but I do like it.

Not sure what the problem is, but try DayZ Commander and see if that fixes it.

Infected don't spawn relative to your computer specs. That is completely false.

But you know lots are, and those people have ruined the console community for the rest of us.

I don't see why you're so upset, I wasn't trying to offend you. But are to really going to drink zombie blood? Your body can handle a single drop of blood. The infection you get from zombies is just an infection because you're getting scratched by dirty, bacteria filled nails. The only way you're going to get an infections through your mouth, eyes, etc is you take in copious amounts, which would have to be intentional.

I saw this thread, and I swear to god I was going to make a Squiggs comment.

Get DayZ Commander. All it is, is a launcher for the game. Once you download, and open it in the top right corner, in yellow you should see a menu called "intall/update". Once you click it, you will see a ton of shit. Go to the "arma 2" dropdown menu, and select the latest version, and install. Then go to the latest DayZ version (it's currently 1.7.7.1) and click install on that. Ignore everything else on that menu, everything else is just custom versions of the mod, which you might be interested in later. DayZ is now installed. As for the rest of the launcher, you can use the "search" function to find servers. I suggest you find a good community/server, and add it to your favourites, and stick with that server. I don't have time (it's 1.30am and my laptop is almost dead) to get into detail about finding a server (i.e. right mod version, one with good pop, etc, etc). So I hope someone can fill you in on that. But finding servers with DayZ Commander will be tricky at first, because it will list private and public hives (a hive is a group of servers that are connected), different mod versions, etc, etc. Good luck, and feel free to PM me (though I probably won't respond until tomorrow morning/afternoon)if you have any questions about finding servers, joining, or anything DayZ related.

I don't think they devs should even have the thought of console in their minds right now. I think they should be concentrating on making the SA the best it can be. In my eyes, I don't feel the SA should be realeased on console at all. Aside from it being a moral thing, I feel it will just bring the community down. I used to be a console gamer, and to put it bluntly, the console community lives up to it stereotypes. The last thing I want is for people like that to come into this community and destroy it. Call of Duty could have been a good franchise, before the community ripped it apart. I don't want this community to get filled with people that clearly don't belong here. I just feel that bringing the game to console will bring down the DayZ PC community, and the game as whole. If the SA opens up to the console community (and we have one joined forums), I feel we will lose a lot of good forum mods, and I for one, will never set foot on the SA forums. TL;DR: No. Not because I hate consoles (I enjoy my PS3 from time to time), but I just can't stand the console community, and feel it would bring down the PC community, the DayZ community as a whole, and overall, the game itself.

Lately I've been playing DayZero and Epoch. Earlier I picked up Lingor with a buddy and it was super fun. Also considering getting some friends together and taking a stab at the public hive again.
