No, thanks.
-
I can just see that getting out of hand...
-
Well comparing everyone wants vehicles ASAP, it would take much longer.
-
They can't just whip something like this up and implement it. They would have to make models for the horses, and code them, etc, etc, all from scratch.
-
Potato, Potato. Tomato, Tomato. That doesn't really work over text...
-
^ Incorrect. It's clearly a half man.

Just run up and scream "NAME THE FUCKING PRIME MINISTER"

Let's not spark a political debate. Not the time, or place. I'm just saying that it's not purely because you're Canadian. That's just how you play. Plus people from other countries are likely to have the same mentality as you. I was just led to believe that OP thought Canadian servers were happy fun times with no KOS. When that is not the case.
-
The fact that they/we are Canadian, that doesn't affect the KOS levels.
-
I'm sorry, but with that CPU and GPU, I really doubt it.

I think showing you how long you actually survived would be quite easy, and cool. However, like stated above, showing a map of where you traveled would be extremely difficult. I'm no dev, but creating a system that tracks your movements and records them over multiple play sessions would be a royal bitch (if even possible). For instance, in the earlier days of the mod, I survived for 40+ days (actually playing), for the game to track all that, and record it across multiple months, servers, and playsessions would be impossible, (even if it was possible, would it be worth all the work so you can look at it for 20 seconds before you respawn?).

So this is what Hetstaine does in SA...
-
It's too much IMO. Too over the top. Plus I'd think, if you really needed to, you can hold in a sneeze.
-
Can I get "ITS ME ASSHOLE" tattood on my face? Or "west side" across my throat. That'd be cool too.
-
Calm the hell down about Dean allready....

Sticks and Stones and don't break my bones

I'm confused on the point of this thread.. I started thinking it was a suggestion, then it turned into a rant thread.. -
It's your CPU. The game uses one core, not your entire CPU. It's bottle necking. Or each core just doesn't have the power to deliver the FPS you want.
-
Those were the best days though.. I miss that thing... But I agree with everyone. It will just become too OP, and not to mention, I don't think there's a thermal attachment for an M4, nor are there thermal goggles. And I don't believe NVGs light up green..

I feel this could symbolize the true essence of DayZ. I can see the commercials... "BUY DAYZ TODAY! IT'S THE ONLY GAME WHERE YOU CAN ACTUALLY SHIT!"
-
now it would be perfect if the fan didn't run 10 billion rpm

For it to be realistic, there would have to be very obvious signs the player is alive, and then, players would learn to instantly spot the difference. Could be cool though.

I hope to hell he said "Bon apatite" before hacking you to bits.
-
I dig.

Every 10 steps, stop and wiggle. Everyone who sees the bayonet will assume its a branch.

Everyone owns a flashlight. And everyone owns clothes.I don't believe you can disassemble weapons yet either? And I was just saying IMHO, it's immersion breaking.
