Just because other games aren't 24 hour cycles, that doesn't mean DayZ has to change. The cycles you mentioned would be SO unrealistic, and they would just look stupid.

Fast cycles are just horrid. If rocket wanted to slightly shorten them to say...18 or 20 hours, I wouldn't object, but 1 and 1 or 30m and 30m would be horrific.

What kind of food can you cook? btw, you also need gas for the stove.

I tried with a kitchen knife and screw driver. Fairly sure the screw driver was slightly damaged, but the kitchen knife was in good shape. No luck.

Don`t be alarmed. It`s just stating that the players client`s data is fully updated/installed.
