Not sure exactly where to post this or if there is even anyone out there trying to catch hackers but just now, I ran into a blantant hacker who teleports to you and blows you up, even right after you spawn in as a new character. Server =Evil Dead= 69.39.239.133:3357 at 10pm EST 3/8/2014

in the steam game properties, i keep hitting 'validate' on the same game (for either in the steam library) and it keeps coming up with 1 or 2 corrupted files, every time. multiple times in a row for the same game. if steam can't even get the validation process right, then WTF.

i've "validated" multiple times in a row and keep getting corrupted files. steam sucks. there's another thread about this with a fix, not sure if it works.

This is not an isolated event for you. It started about an hour ago and is plaguing a lot of us!

Then I noticed Steam updating something, and it turns out to be arma OA. Wait for it to finish, now I get kicked from every server instantly when I get in. There's another active thread about this. We need to find a workaround.

First get a bunch of med supplies, then find people's pleas for help and contact them and then heal them. Or am I missing something?

I'm still able to connect using my favorites or recent servers via DayZCommander. Also, remote connect with IP works ingame. Nothing else is working ATM. :/

Cool interview! Rocket talks about some good points and really interprets SideStrafe's questions quite well. Though Rocket does say a lot of the same things from the GamebreakerTV and FPSGuru interviews. That kiwi is all over the place! Don't stop your there, keep going. Get to the part, "I want the experience to feel authentic." Why would you even skip, "If I just want to do something that's fun then you know I'd go outside, I'd go for a run or watch a movie or something easy."

The answer is obvious: more loot without having to trek anywhere. This is not a new problem. You should expected loot heavy areas to be PvP zones filled with all sorts of teleporting creeps and invisible snipers.

SillySil is right, this worked for me a week or so ago. Join "Canada 2" which will put you from the vast empty landscape into debug forest. Then IMMEDIATELY run EAST, or if you don't have a compass, run to the direction that doesn't have trees. If you linger there, you will be shot. You may get shot anyway, as happened to me.

You should have asked RatedMGaming for medical aid. #13 on Dr Wasteland's white list.

Average wait is between an hour or three, my best guess. Some rescue forms come in while we are online and nearby, BOOM! 20 minutes and the guy's posting thanks online. Other RMA's come in when we are all offline for whatever reason and those can take longer. I saved a guy yesterday who'd been waiting a couple days for a rescue before he filled out an RMA. Our camp was raided and for whatever reasons we couldn't get to him for a whole day. He waited 3 days total with a broke leg and super low blood, poor Kibster. If you are serious about wanting to meet up and tag along for a rescue, we could always use the help. All the community info is available at RatedMGaming.com.

Wow, Zulthus won the lotto today! Most of our patients just get what they need and maybe some extra help depending on their behavior. I'm really digging the idea of gift bags for donations. I think people would be willing to donate $1 per rescue, especially when it's going to a such a charitable cause.

I don't know the reason, but I have experienced my tents either vanishing completely or just everything inside vanishing. Other tents I've made won't let me access any menu, and one bastard tent actually killed me when I crawled inside. >:( The game is alpha, so even if you got an explanation now, the next 30 versions are going to just create more issues. Figure it what works and make it work for you. I think the tents not saving they should be could be caused by leaving the server too soon after hitting save. Just a hunch.
