There are definitely too many high loot spots spread around the map which makes it a lot easier to get good loot.
-
I remember before DayZ came out everyone complained about how crappy the mod was and thought the standalone would fix it. Now everyone's acting like the mod is the best thing ever made. In my opinion they are both broken pieces of crap , but only one of them has potential. Not saying they aren't good games, though.

Because you have a problem with the game that most of the community doesn't it means the devs are trash, nice logic there bro. Also, if you want a game that doesn't have game breaking shizz like that, then wait till it's done. That's like eating a raw steak and complaining about how undercooked it is.

Put the FOV slider at the main menu only so people can't use it to have super zoom and we're fine.
-
How do you have any fun playing alone on a server and looting all day? Like seriously, what is there to do other than player interactions?
-
Actually, it was a private server, so maybe that's why.

I was wearing the Rocket Aviators yesterday in Cherno. Maybe you are just unlucky.
-
I never really liked that skin. It's completely out of place camo for the environment of Chernarus, just sticks out like a sore thumb.
-
Odds are you were carelessly running around axing zombies not aware of your surroundings. That's usually what happens when people get shot. Pay attention to your surroundings, always be on the lookout for other players and always assume that there might be someone near you.

Do you have the jitters? Here's how I subsided mine.

I think it was the fact that you ran for 10 minutes, not the tincture. There's a bug where you violently shake because you are cold but it doesn't tell you that you are cold, you probably solved it by running back into warmth. -
When you minimize DayZ anything you are doing client-side will freeze. putting the -nopause command in your launch options should fix this

Have good graphics card.. not getting good fps
plexico replied to joshhhh0's topic in Troubleshooting
Your cpu. It is the power saving version (S) It only runs at 2.80 GHZ If you want more FPS, I'd suggest upgrading the CPU. Even the regular non-power saving version of your current CPU would make a difference, but something like the i5-4670k would be ideal: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116899 I don't know if your CPU is unlocked, but if it is, try overclocking. -
DayZ and Arma 2 use all 4 of my CPU cores evenly.
-
Try taking out one of the cards or disabling SLI
