So, it's been well over a month since I last played this game. Give me the news, what has happened? Any new items/gear? Something removed? New mechanics implemented in game? Still a lot cheaters around? thanks in advance :)

No, what would you call it if 6 people lose their lives in an indiscriminate murder where the murderer really don't know how to use his weapons? Oh yeah, the DMR is in the hands of a hacker right now. Or not as he probably didn't pick it up, he had the as50 thermal. Did I camp? We were running from Kamenka to Komarovo, I spotted these guys and set record on. Then I hit the ground in a position I thought was good. Should I have run around with the DMR? Is that how this game is "supposed" to be played? Nope, we did not "camp" I just didn't record the whole session that started from stary, went from NW airfield to Zelenogorsk and Kamenka to Komarovo. Had I recorded it, it would have definitely been too big to upload to youtube, and if I'd uploaded a maximum length video, you'd probably be here crying something like "tl;dw".

Yeah, why don't you go here and make a suggestion how bandits should be banned, how PvP is ruining the game and how fresh spawns should have a god-mode turned on for 24hours so that they can get to the same level with others? about "noobs" (=newbie, newcomer) Well, they had learn'd something, since one had the CZ, and 2 of them Alice bags.. Anyway (considering they were noobs) atleast now they learned that Day Z is quite a brutal game!

I don't know about you, faggot, but I don't "pussy camp" in games, I do it from a nice leather couch in the corner of a nightclub. From wikipedia: "A massacre is an incident where some group is killed by another, and the perpetrating party are perceived to be in total control of force while the victimized party is perceived to be helpless and/or innocent with regard to any legitimate offense." I think this video fits the description of "massacre" pretty well. I don't know if you define massacre some other way though? If this was what you wanted to see (with AKM in Electro), then it would have probably helped you to read my post before actually watching the video, as it clearly states this happened in Komarovo industrial area. Well, everyone makes stupid mistakes, don't they?

In the heat of the moment (in this game especially) you forget to keep a cool head and as you are constantly aware they might alt+F4 any second, you make choices that are necessarily not smart I do admit, spraying around quite a bit, but hey, the video title was "massacre", didn't say anything about accurate instant 3km jumping headshots did it? ;) eipä mitää, kaljaa koneeseen! :P

Yes, I understood how it would work but you have to understand: Using a handheld GPS device is completely different than using some military laptop to connect to a satellite and using the satellite camera to take photos (ie. controlling the satellite). It is high-tec compared to an operational GPS. Think about it this way When using a GPS, what does the GPS do and what does the satellite do? GPS -connects to satellite -receives coordinates -draws the current location on a pre-installed map based on received coordinates Satellite -sends coordinates. When using this military laptop thing you suggested: Laptop -same stuff as gps and showing a picture -receive data from satellite Satellite -send coordinates -move around, turn the camera around to correct location, zoom in, take photo -send photo If you see where I'm going at, every man can buy his own gps device and use it as if it was a mobile phone, TV or what ever modern day electronic device. But not every man can afford/can get his hands on a device that physically controls the satellites floating in the sky. Even if they'd somehow get their hands on a device like this, they most likely wouldn't know how to operate it. Using GPS =/= using satellite It's like comparing driving a car to flying a helicopter. Well if this is your point, then wouldn't you just do these guys a favor as if the laptop would be so rare, only people with endgame gear would get their hands on it? Let them play the game how they like, bringing in this satellite system would probably only be trouble. It's not really too hard to avoid a try-hard bandit and his brand new DMR..

Server: DayZ - UK - 181 Time: August 22, 2012 5:10 p.m. GMT+3 Hacker name: (Sniper) Trent I had been playing for an hour or so, making my way to Stary to meet my friend. I'd been hearing some quiet music occasionally, but I thought it was some of my friends on ventrilo. My character was located somewhere near Black Forest and Lesnoy Khrebet. Suddenly I spotted someone behind me. I hid behind a tree, big enough to hide me properly, or that's what I thought. I knew this guy had seen me too, so I decided to wait behind cover and monitor the situation. Suddenly the guy shot me. (I did not get any proof of this at that time, but the guys name was (Sniper) Trent) As my screen faded black, I started hearing music again (call me maybe), this time a bit louder and I realized it was coming from direct chat. So I quickly respawned somewhere near Drakon. My character started dancing, which was weird, but I don't know if it had something to do with the incident or not. ANYWAY, in the dancing movie clip, my friend yells in ventrilo how some sniper just suddenly spawned in front of him, and then after a while disappeared again. (My friend was located somewhere around Pusta) I start making my way inland, and about 30 seconds after the dancing part, I start hearing "call me maybe" again. My friend yells in ventrilo, that the guy he saw was named (Sniper) Trent, the same guy I see in front of me. Quite a suspicious combination, the same guy playing the same song over direct in 3 different locations MILES apart from each other, yet only minutes after one another. (Sniper) Trent also had quite strange gear, heavy weaponry but still only the starter bag and NO food/water.. HERE is a Youtube link for some video/screenshot evidence

I'm not accusing you of hacking "because I died". I don't have a problem starting over in this game, it's a part of what makes Day Z exciting. What I do have a problem with is people who exploit the game and hack. Your arguments in defense are as strong as a harvestmans web. Trenth, looks like the foundation on your hastily constructed argument is starting to crumble. It's quite suspicious for you to carry illegal weaponry: considering you have that as50 tws + m4a1 cco SD, one would expect to find something else from you than antibiotics plus the gear of a fresh spawn. Care to give us a coherent and proper response against these accusations, or will you pathetically try to bury all the evidence we have provided by churning out the same bullshit explanation you already gave us?

To me this seems to be too much out of the concept. This would be too "high-tec" imo, I'd say the gps (and the possible radio systems still to be implemented) are enough for items that have buttons.

I've played for quite a long time, but never really felt the need to set up a tent. I've had some nice military gear, and sometimes even left good gear behind when I could have just set up a tent and store it there. I don't feel I need the tents for myself. Well, not now atleast, the game is so unstable so it wouldn't be fun to realize your camp was restarted to zero. (that's how I feel) I still don't think that the ppl who set up camps and hoard stuff are breaking this game. They still need to find and loot everything they set in their tents. If they die, why not let them get back to their tents? Yeah, it might be easy to get up&running again, but eventually someone else will find your nice little boy-scout camp... And the other thing was made quite clear here too: What would be the point in firefights for the ownership of a tent camp?

Server: DayZ - SE #500 (1.7.2.5/95948) [VET][GMT+1] Multiplay Norway Time: August 23, 2012 12:40 p.m. GMT+3 What happened: Playing around with my friend Cheduic. We just started over, after our previous hacker encounter just yesterday. We found a tent near Rog, it contained 3x m4cco, and +30 magazines for them. Not sure if this was hacked or not, we picked up gear from the tent and kept playing. Around 20-30 minutes later we (and apparently most of the players in the server) were teleported to the same location and people suddenly started dying out. Notice, I started recording asap only after we were teleported so you will only see other players getting spawned near me.
