Gametracker just shows servers that were found by some hard working reddit guys. We know of 4 GSPs, each GSP atleast 300 servers, each server atleast 50 players. Atleast 60.000 players can play the game at the moment.

The optis are absolutly certain it's coming next week, I just see it as very highly likely. Sure, right before the release there is not much difference betweens optis and realistis, as the optis can be right and at some point they have to be right. On the other side, pessis are right until the SA releases, which is very likely next week. You were right all the time before, but in the end you are always wrong.

I am just being realistic. Now there are 3 fractions. The optis (conducts of the hypetrain) and pessis like you and the realists like me. Well, me as a realist I see the next week as a very probable time for the SA release. You as a pessi think it's impossible, as you are a pessi and this is what pessis do.

Like seriously: This is the funniest thing I expirienced since weeks XD (regarding DayZ) But I love how Dean is taking it with humor. Like normal developers would have been really nervous but he is laughing like a 14-years old who accidently slipped some words that ruin his masterplan to troll a friend. It was like "Holy sh*t that was close dude! If they knew what I was talking about we would be screwed" and his friend like "Idiot, pull yourself together! We can still do it." and he just giving up in a huge laughter... Well, good try.

Well, I don't think that. The reason is that "locking the build down", does not mean "release imminent". It is just another thing they have to do. But he as a developer knows exactly that "locking the build down" is the last step for the release. This and ofcourse his childish laughter after that and hicks trying desparetly to kind of get out of the situation. If it was just wrong words he chose, he would've stayed calm, said it isn't like he said it is and that they probably need much more time. But if he did that, he would've lied to us. And I don't think that Dean wants to lie to us ;)

I wonder actually why Dean didn't just say it. "Lock down the build." It doesn't necessarily mean that the game is releasing. But as he stopped himself in middle of the sentence, well it is just too obvious. Additionally to that he is not giving any statements to this mistake on reddit or somewhere else. I really think that he thinks that the game will be out next week. Otherwise he wouldn't have said all these kinds of things. Making screenshots for the steam page, telling everyone to not buy the game if they are not certain, reaction to "Maybe in the next stream you show us..." and ofcourse the mistake he made with "locking down the build". Nothing, never said that.

Just wait for the SA. When Dean was playing he got paniced whenever there was an infected coming. Now I think that was because of the fear to become infected by a hit from them. Once you are infected you are pretty much screwed if you don't have the right medical supplies. But let's just wait and see how dangerous they really are next week. ;)
