Oh thanks for ruining my day. Showing me that I am not able to play the game and that you have f*cking access all the time. Yeah, just disguise it as joke. "Me? I am playing DayZ and you are no-ot :P " Very mature behaviour. -.-

DayZ SA: Steam Community Chat Questionnaires

Own unique controls like any other titles? Any other titles? Skyrim? What is he talking about. Controls are linked to Arma? So I guess no custimization at all. And what is the manuel beforehand? A simple answere "yes" or "no", would have been way better in my opinion. Still not sure what he meant. -
Dean Hall zombie.

And then you have the people complaining about the people who are complaining about the complaining people who complain about complaining.

People are complaining about complaining people...

Your birthday? Who cares about your birthday, I thought you meant the SA development birthday xD

They have not set the release date and they never will. They will release the game as soon as possible.

There should be no third person in vehicles I mean it is just ridicilous. You can dodge things you wouldn't even see in real life. You can look behind you and see everything. But that is another topic...

One word: Capitalism.

DayZ Mod is the best game ever made. Even if the SA is just slightly better, it will still be the best game ever made by human beings. I do not exaggerate, this game has caused more human emotions, more unique expiriences and more thrills then any other game was even remotely capable of. Thank you Rocket for revolutionizing gaming.

Perma-identity. Nickname is permanent. Nickname as face. Cover face - conceal nickname.
Wayze replied to DZR_Mikhail's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
1. Just because of missing authenticity, we don't have to remove it completly. 2. I am not sure if we played the same game, but DayZ was never about survival. Hopefully it will be in the SA, but if it was about survival in the mod, then 4 cans of beans and an empty water bottle would have been enough to play the game. 3. Why not just lock a name to a character? I mean, if I want to play a female character and my name is Chuck Norris... just looks f*cking stupid. 4. We had a permaidentity in the mod, I don't think that even 1% of the players change their names every day. And what did this perma identity? Nothing, just these weird situations when I die and come back and a guy tells me "Hey that is him, we died together in cherno!". I mean, wtf? 5. Not a very good bandit because I die? Don't be childish, in DayZ everyone dies sooner or later, it has nothing to do with skill, but with pure luck. You can be as careful as you want to, if you die it is over. And what sense does your system make if you can just change your character? I mean, I could go try kill someone, change my name and next time I kill him with my "hero" character. Where is the problem? 6. And here I see the problem in your system. I have a question, are people able to have the same names? Or will people run around with names like D4rkKn1ght021? What if I call myself Chuck Norris or Jack? So now everyone who has the name Jack or Chuck Norris can destroy my reputation? So there are two options I see: People will indeed carry names like D4rkKn1ght021. Or people will fake other names to use their reputation for their own good. 7. If you try to kill a player and die, why should you be even more punished? I mean, I would like to be able to try it again, my character died. And here is my point, the death of the character should hurt way more then "destroying my reputation". This is just possible with some sort of character development system, as I mentioned many times before. But if that point is reached and the death of my character, not the loss of the gear, is acutally meaning something, then I do not need a "reputation" system, because I was punished enough by dying. Now I can run around and try again. Why not? -
Uhm, yeah...

As I expirienced Dean, he is not that kind of person that laughs about others who fail in something. He always liked community made stuff, the video with the goat, the very bad video with the grandpa talking about DayZ etc. All of these were not very well made, but he liked and enjoyed them anyways.
-
Dean tends to deliver the wrong message. But I thought he learned from his mistakes? I mean, clearly this tweet is very easy to misinterpret.

My friend, you should calm yourself. We all are human beings and we all share a common sense of socialibility, right? So please just try to realise that there are people out there, who have another opinion. Your theories and assumption might seem correct to you, but to others they may not. This is something you have to accept. What freedom is, well we could discuss it here, but we would never get a result other then "freedom is subjective". It depends from person to person. If freedom was "doing whatever you want without harming others", freedom would no exists. I cannot do whatever I want to, I cannot go out there and fly like a bird. For me freedom was always an illusion, even the "free will" does not exists. Like I said this is a very complicated and subjective topic we are talking about. Anyways, a game is a game. You can do what you want to do. You can troll as long as you want. Why should it be forbidden if you are able to do it? Because you think it is not funny. Because you think it is immersion and gameplay breaking. Because you think it is harming others. But what if the majority of the people actually does like to troll? What if the majority of the people has another opinion? Clearly, if the game gives us the oppurtunity to do something, we as human beings tend to do what we are capable of doing. Testing the limits. A feature that allows to "spraypaint my mom*s personal phonenumber all over cherno", is in my opinion a wrong one. It is very badly designed if it needs an investigation to prevent people from doing such things. Give 10 people 10 weapons. After one of them kills another one he goes to jail. 1 human is dead and the other one will stay in jail for the rest of his life. You could've prevented all of this by simply not giving them the weapons. But I don't think we are talking about these people, who really harm others. I mean, the most people will just do stupid things. As you said yourself they will troll. They will write things like "Call of Duty ftw!" on the walls. You want to bann someone for doing so? He did not harm anyone with it, he just did something because in his opinion it was right. We all surely agree that these things are very immersion breaking, but you cannot punish these people for using the game to have fun. What kind of logic is this? I tell you, it is your logic. I got another one. And this is why human beings are so successful, we do not agree with each other. I have my opinion and you have yours, that is totally fine. But next time don't be so intolerant please. If something looks clever, it usually is. But that depends on the opinion of the observer.

You clearly underrestimate the internet.
-
Guys, don't forget. The first people who buy the game and get on the servers will be able to play the game until they leave the server. The rest will probably wait hours or days...
-
Why is Anonymous not doing something useful for once? They should get the f*cking files and give them to us so we can play it finally.
-
No, that is just a list of the steam apps recently updated.

What I mean is, that if you are driving into a zombie, and the airbag goes off, you will have no controll over the vehilce for some time. Airbags can even break your arms, or cause a really unfriendly punsh in the face by your own hand. Sure they aren't supposed to harm you, that does not mean they are harmless.
-
Right now, even for that amount of money, I would buy it. Not even kidding.
-
Bad idea. Talking about freedom and then punishing players for doing what they want.
-
Would be funny if you had to remove the airbag. Otherwise if you hit a zombie it could blow up and you would be most likely screwed. :D
