well after reading here is my two cents. like some have already said, you wont be able to poop whenever you want, or you would have haemorrhoids for pushing it all the time lol. plus the "kids will abuse it" card is non sence, when dean had mentioned it he meant for diseases like cholera, so when sickness become more then just passing out, from eating rotten kiwi you would get a diarrhea and would have to drink lots of water and stop often untill you felt better, including having to eat healthy food. now add the zombie threats when they will be everywhere, players. so if you ate something bad out of desperation and got sick, suddenly having to poop and a a horde chases you, you wouldnt have time to squat thus leading you to crap your pants. Dean also mentioned about wearing another players clothing that are contaminated. now this will include that the kids would not be able to put their crap in a container because they would also get sick if carried around. this also leads to tracking with dogs not only humans but also animals and so on. so my taking is that water sources near by any city would be poluted, and in need of purification, but those sources out in the wild might a change of natural diseases or none. bottom line is, this would make us players think before pvp as often and only needed because need to remember this. dehydration also causes diarrhea........ i think this is the scope dean was aiming at. then again why should we stop the really sick demented to pull crazy stunts with poop? i mean the are those really insane out in the real world too right?

once at the mod long time ago dont remember what and how came to be the situation but i was part of clan who acted as bandits most of the time. any way it was my good side day for a moment at least when the guy asks for help or if he wanted to team up. all i remember is that he kept asking for stuff and began to annoying, " i said sure, i will something you never forget" pulled my 1911 and shot on his face point blank. this other time we picked up this guy who wanted a heli ride to NW and on the way we had to pick up a team mate. boy his reaction was priceless when we said that we were bandits, and that we were going to drop him off in the middle of nowhere up north. Since they were new to the server we dropped him off at nw. i repeat that was when we were being nice...

in the mod after you died your tent would disappear if you didnt interact with it. however i find that knid of silly, unless someone destroyed like they added in breaking point had fund with it. the concept allows for many objectives as area control, gang wars and so one....it should work fine if they removed the server hopping thing, but that is later down the road since things are buggy as heck. -

well my two cents, suuure i wished the game was finished in my dreams already, but to come here and whine about stuff that makes no sense i find it ridiculous. To come on to the forums and make posts about bugs to let that little rage/ frustration off is one thing. But this post is just stupid, first none here is working for BI or dayz dev team, none here have to sit hours coding stuff in the game, second they are also humans beings and not robots, the more pressure given the more stress creates and more mistakes happens. So they are entitled to their rests or travels. I dont care how much they have to spend on their personal trips, hell i bet that if anyone´s bosses here would force you to work non stop you would find a lawyer right away. So reality check the game will take some time, until we are out of alpha stage we will deal bugs and problems. No i am not using the its alpha but honestly isnt what it is? alpha! there are plenty of other gamer to play, i might check h1z1 just for kicks, whats wrong with that? if we were on year 4 of game development then i would be concerned, ppl bring the mod when they fail to understand that the mod wasnt the game it was what caught everyone´s attention. So me personally i dont count the mod as part of the project because it was using or rather "leeching" from arma 2 i mean leeching because it used what he could from the game and changed what he could, thus all the crazy bugs. All the COD kids and 12 year old should just chill on demanding stuff or rather read the red labels before they buy the game, we cant blame steam, BI or anyone else if they cant read those big bright colored letters. -
the game as been out for year? did the OP time travel to the future and didnt bring a copy for us? shame on you. serious though why the heck ppl are thinking that game this big takes 6 months to get rdy? dont count the mod in, since it was just a mod. using another game as a base for it. ppl forget this, if had passed 2 years since SA came out then i would be pissed.

dude just admit that you barelly played any mods enough, vanilla wasnt easy, took some time to get good. I remember that Nw was hell to loot because of massive zombie spawns and snipers. Origins was meh. breaking point was fun beacuse of the bloodsucker but they all the had same issues....... the bugs. maybe you should have made a advice thread then a whine thread.

the only mod that you could choose you spawn point was origins, dude even falling in bad way from a computer desk height will kill a person. But wanting on going to the realism side, it all depends how much health you had left when you fell. Honestly man the type of complaints that you pointed are nothing more then noob stage problems.....

sorry OP but you need to learn to play, and more about the glitches, in this game a fall will kill ya and doesnt have to be too high for that. Dont just sprint everywhere, i notice that if i am coming crouched and yet running into a town or location i barely get any aggro unless when i turn a corner and there is one there or one one spawns on a open and i am within line of sight. So nope sorry in this case you cant blame on it being alpha.

if you know where your enemy is, and there is only way out, and you have element of surprise, just wait, eitheer he will come out or he log out. given that he has not seen you he will come out.....just not be smart but outsmart

i find it funny, in the past berenzino was dreaded by everybody, or most, now that every body is spawning there for testing, thinks is the best and even thinks they are going to keep that way.....as soon as this changes ppl will go back to cod because your gonna have too walk, you will have to scavenge more because the loot spawn will also be balanced. If the devs keep as it is, they might as well cut their work short and cut more then 50% of the map since ppl are too attached (in past was cherno). and wont go anywhere else. the way i see it the reason they are adding more towns north, close to berezino is that both South spawns are being balanced with the East spawns, that way the fresh spawn will eventually find his way to center of the map or give more reason to go other places.

ppl go against inland spawn as if the devs would put a spawn point right on top of best looting areas. best distance would be 2-3 km away from any city or location, because if balanced right, even if your planning on going to your target destination 2-3 km is far enough to have anything happen to make you change your target location.

don't really know why they changed from spawning on the coasts, in the mod we would spawn from kamenka all the way to berezino. I also vote for random to spawn inland along with the old spawn setting, regardless if bolota is a proper base now, unless your running from kamanka to berezindo (which took 30 min or more) everything else take 20-25 if you don't get lost.

from the mod to here the main problem was Zs path finding and glitching through walls, this is still an issue here they have never figured a real fix to it, mainly because of the engine from what i recall. makes me wonder if they actually gonna be fixed, but the way it is now heck no to making them stronger untill their falcon punch from 5 meters from me is fixed, also the combat bug, where i can no longer swing or fire and have to relog...... also including their spawning, every single time i am entering a town they spawn right behind me, untill then sorry but no to that idea. The game is Dayz so it is a zombie game, player vs zombie/player, survival. they need to be a threat. PVP is part of the game and it become more centered because once you learned how the Zs works you know to avoid them, specially for scouting towns for player threats, the AI will never be advanced so yes numbers is their strength when the current and long issues have been really fixed. -

the way the terrain is now there is some nice places to pitch a tent, since we dont have air transport. search for one at the moment would take a big effort

well i just placed one yesterday and today its gone, i checked all the servers i play at and nothing. i came back to play for because of it, it seems will have to take another break.

lol at this thread. really? it is considered coward snipping ppl now? I prefere the assault role but heck snipers are snipers learn to use you head an counter snipe, not with a sniper but path of view, learned that in basic....works here too
