Probaly already suggested, but the Lee Enfield needs to be replaced with the Mosin Nagant, seen as chernarus is based on russia or somthing like that.

I'd love to team up but it really is immpossable to communicate without a mic, espeacilly when it comes to pvp situations and flanking. You need fast comms. But good luck

Finding a vehicle really isn't that hard. Today in Cherno I found a Humvee. (military jeep, also looks smexy) It needed 2 wheels and an engine repair. Once I got it I picked up a guy at the coast who was running from zombies bleeding and we went to stary/nwaf and got very nicely geared. I then went to stash it at my camp but i hit a tree and bam, wheels gone. Cars do not last forever. NEITHER do helicopters as they respawn every restart <_<

This only happens to me in elektro. Seriously, have direct chat ready and a mic and say you're freindly. From my expereince they actually didn't shoot 65% of the time.

It is much better with a freind but if you're solo atleast have a mic so you can quickly say freindly to other players, if you're not a bandit.

If you're solo all the gear you find is yours. With a group people might fight over who gets what gear... *AS50 at the crash site*

Hi. So a few days ago I was playing on a server then it said it was restarting in 10 minutes. When the server is back up I join and it said my CD key was in use.. I tought i needed to buy arma 2 CO again but hours later I am able to play again?... And just now it says CD key in use and it's probaly going to work in 20 minutes again? TL;DR: I think i'm not the only one with my key :|

Hey thanks for the help, I'll do this tommorow. I have an AV but it never detected any keystealer. Either way I'll be very cautious next time. I don't care about my DayZ character at all I just want to play the game again :beans:

Ok well the manual way seems to be buying another arma 2 combined operations. Will I need to make a new steam account? How do I do this? Cause somthing might happen with my registery etc. And yes I've already sent an email to bohemia about it the first time it has happened. I might just wait for the standalone and suck it up

I've never downloaded anything DayZ related.. but isn't it immpossable for people to have 1 key at a time? Like I said, somtimes it says cd key in use then a while later I can log on. I don't know if this is a hacker or not. If it is what should I do :/

Maybe, just MAYBE in the standalone we will be. But I don't really care nor want it since multiplayer is 90% of what this game is about

Balota buddies is one of the best but you'll have to whitelist + Promise you'll wear a mic, if you want to get to action quickly try bambies paradise gb/de/fr/uk, it has a good population (EU peak times usualy have 50 players), night/day cycle and you don't start off with a gun and nvg ghillie crap. Enjoy

Ok, I have played this game for about nearly a week now. I still consider my self new although I know pretty much everything about the game now. So I am in cherno, fresh spawned and I found a nice shotgun, Then in chat a guy says he needs a blood bag, and seen as the fact im not a KoS idiot I say sure I've got some blood bags, and told him i'll be there in a bit. so after i've finished looting cherno im using the road from cherno to electro and my survivor was getting hungry so I stop to eat pasta, and all of a sudden I hear an engine, turn around and BOOM i go flying because some douche ran me over and all I had was a shotgun with 1 mag. Sweet. So I start again pretty angry and head to elektro and go into the firestation, loot a drink and BANG, sniped by a lee enfield from about 90 meters. So then a few days later I get nicely equipped, seen a guy getting chased by zombies at in some town in the north part of chernarus. I take the zombies out with my gun and he says "Thanks, need a blood transfusion?" Me, sure yes please. While he gives me it he swiftly takes out his gun and sprays me dead. tl;dr, everyone wants to kill me, this game no longer has teamwork, it's just a deathmatch.

Really? Could that get any more stupid? Well anyways I joined a server and I loved it and I check my map and it has blue/red dots on the map. Asked in side what they were and they said players! That's really stupid and ruins stealth don't you think?

My first kill story is really stupid. The first gun i found was a SNIPER. lol, It was in the firestation, went upstairs and found an m24 and since firestations have windows on them i took a peak outside, next minute i turn around and a guy with a hatchet hacks me down but since I had a sniper it one hit killed him. My legs were broken and I was bleeding but it still was my first kill :D

I'm downright SICK of hackers having all the vehicles marked on the map, i'm not sure if the admins actually do this but jesus. Let me explain, So I find a UAZ, repair it up, pick some bambies on the coast up then drop them off at elektro. I headed to my camp to store the UAZ there, left 10 minutes, came back and it's gone. Like POOF. There was no way somone just found it since no one found that tent until i put the car there. This sucks, does it happen to anyone else?
