Date/Time: 2-4am (NZ time) 6-8am (Server Time) What happened: Will be playing fine with no lag or connection issues and then I'll magically appear in a position I was in earlier. Teleporting intervals were inconsistent but ranged from 20secs to 5mins (more often closer to the latter). Teleporting distance was inconsistent but ranged from 200m to 1.5k. Occurred all night regardless of server, server time or map position. Made no difference if I was near zeds or none. Made no difference if I was in combat or not. Pack always retained gear. Where you were: Occurred entire journey from Msta to Novy. What you were doing: Anything. Mostly running if I recall correctly. Sometimes shooting zeds. Sometimes standing still. Sometimes crouch walking. What I was doing didn't seem to make any difference really. An exact timeline of events isn't really possible as it occurred over 2hrs and I'd be hard pushed to remember exact details. What I do remember is detailed above. Have since confirmed that this issue is always proceeded by the Debug Monitor disappearing and item use (such as eating, drinking, meds) is very delayed, for example if you select drink water it will take about 30secs-3mins to play drinking sound, replenish thirst and disappear from gear. Troubleshooting: This is a list of things myself and other expriencing this isse have tried in atempt to resolve the issue without success: [PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SUGGESTING A FIX IN THIS THREAD] Removed DayZ and manually updated. Removed DayZ and updated using Six Updater. Removed Arma2 then reinstalled. Tried lower latency servers. Made new profile. Preventing an Imminent Telebug: If you notice that your Debug Monitor has disappeared and/or item use (such as eating, drinking, meds) is delayed then Disconnect/Connect. This will prevent you from being Telebugged until your Debug Monitor disappears and/or item use is delayed again. Unfortunately this is NOT A FIX as your Debug Monitor could disappear again within minutes of reconnecting and you'll have to Disconnect/Connect again, this will just prevent you from being Telebugged and losing all your progress.

I think you might have just been lucky for a month. I've tried completely removing DayZ and updating manually many times and also using six updater and neither fix the issue. One other person here even tried removing Arma2 completely and then reinstalling and issue persisted none the less. EDIT: Just updated the first post to include troublshooting so people don't have to read the whole thread to see what everyone's tried. Let me know if there's anything you've tried and I'll add it in. -

So I've updated my bug report to mention that this definitely occurs after the Debug Monitor disappears and delayed item use. I gonna take a massive stab in the dark and say this issue isn't between the client and the server but rather the server and the hive. Possibly some issue where the hive isn't/can't update your account. That's my guess. Would love for the staff just to mention what they think it might be. -

Yeah this really needs attention at some stage. I'm still getting it intermittently and it can really ruin your dayz night. Yep I know it's alpha but this is a major issue for the few of us that are getting it. -

Nope my fix didn't work either, issue persists. Yeah I know one other person who gets this issue. For me it seems to be linked to my debug monitor disappearing, if I disconnect as soon as I see that's it's gone and log back on I can avoid telebugging. This is pretty annoying. -

Ok so I tried a couple of things and played for 2 hours with no issues so I may have fixed it. Heres what I did: In Steam I verified the integrity of game cache for both Arma 2 and Arma 2:OA Installed 6 Updater and updated from that. Will keep you guys posted if it's still working or breaks again. -

I'm also getting an issue with my Debug Monitor disappearing and coming back randomly. Also if I drink or eat something it takes about 1-2mins to action. Not sure if its all related? -

Ban. Seriously, what do you want? A feature where you can submit your gun license when you make your profile so you can start with one?

Sorry if this has already been suggested. I'd like to see a way of pushing zeds over as not to hurt them but rather just to buy some running away time. This would be good for when you start with no weapon and times when you know a bandit is around and you dont want to alert them by using a gun. Would be awesome if you could use this on other survivors too so in a situation where a hoard is on to a group of you, you could turn on a friend and push them down so the zeds go for them while you leg it. Obviously pushing would will be useless in a hoard situation and it should also have a small risk of getting hit so it wouldn't really nerf zeds at all. Thoughts?

Ha I know what you mean, I got into a big argument with a friend just last night when we were following the power lines past Dubrovka on a rainy night. He somehow got way ahead of me and was telling me that I must've been heading the wrong way but I knew that I was always heading down hill. It wasn't until about 20minutes later that I got telebugged back to another old location that I clicked what actually happened earlier. I've since updated to 1.7.1.5 and updated all the other mod files and beta and I still I'm having this issue. It makes dayz almost unplayable. At one stage for no particular reason using all the same files etc. I had a day or two without any telebugs. Disconnecting doesn't seem to make any difference for me, if it's happening it's gonna happen no matter what I seem to try. Are you guys running any other programs in the background? I usually have JDownloader and/or Firemin running in the background and I've had problems with these guys interfering with other programs and games in the past. I've tried turning them off while playing dayz but I still get the same issue. -

Ok, I'm getting teleported to previous positions. I posted a bug report about it with all the details almost a week ago but no mods have approved it. I'm guessing the mods just assumed that I hadn't updated all the files properly so ignored my thread. I most definitely have all the most up to update mod files and beta and I still get this issue. I even deleted all my mod files and redownloaded them. I submitted the report on 1.7.1.4 and continually stayed up to date with all files and betas since and I'm still getting this issue. Anyone else having the same issue and/or have any idea on how to resolve this? It's super frustrating >_< EDIT: I think my thread was approved after all, my bad. -

This is a stick up... Myself and 3 buddies were all meeting up near Putsa when we heard shots in the village. We looked down from the hillside and saw a survivor in some trouble with a horde so me and one of my buddies chatted to him and offered him some help. He took us up on our offer and made his way to us on the hillside meanwhile my other two buddies fell back out of sight into the forest unbeknown to him. Once he was at our side we lead him to a small basin at the top of a hill and lit fire and offered food and condolences while our unseen two pulled in either side to the rear of him. Once our guys were in place me and my accomplice pulled back either side to the front making him surrounded. At this point he knew something was up and looked to his left and saw one of the previously unseen and said "What? there's 3 of you?" We replied: "4" "you're being robbed" "drop everything" He dropped everything, including pistol, and we sent him on his way back into the world with nothing. Later after I disconnected for the night my conscience got the better of me and I tracked our victim down outside of Day Z. He turned out to be pretty cool so few days later me and one of my co-robber pack members went on a massive loopy mission to Stary to meet up with him. Most of the way I was on 4k blood (+/-600) due to random misfortunes and on quite shaky terms we finally made it Stary. We snuck our way to the store were he was stalled up and as I was still on the same character that robbed him I proudly returned all his loot. Unfortunately about 30 seconds later my accomplice accidentally fired while Alt+Tab'ing and set off a massive horde. I got a heavy blow from a wall disregarding zed and I was game over'd. My accomplice went down but somehow managed to survive and our once victim powered bullets through zeds like a boss. So yeah, I managed to clear my conscience and now my accomplice who also robbed him is all messed up at his side.
