    SERVER NOT SHOWING IN BROWSER

I also have the same issue, as stated by many users and mrwolv, I have double checked that ports 2302-2307 and 27016 are opened. I have even tried to put my server in DMZ and disable the firewall (for a couple of hours) but no way to have my server popping up on the Community tab. I have tried many things, like changing the ports, type (TCP/UDP), but this doesn't help at all. I am able to connect to the server, use rcon, visible thru www.gametracker.com (which requires port 27016 to query) but it just won't display on Community tab. (I see it only if I type IP:PORT) One thing to note, if you run a "netstat -ab" on cmd you'll see which ports the server exe file is using. No TCP ports are triggered (even if I mapped for testing purposes), so no need to use them. Any further advices are greatly appreciated.. Cheers

    DayZ Mod 1.8.6.1

As a workaround you can copy the addons folder from your Arma2 directory into your Arma2OA one. With this you can launch DayZ mod from steam and connect directly to the server... Or you if you prefer a more clicky version, you can have an hyperlink. Check my gaming homepage and click the DayZ mod banner on http://xa.ilganna.ch, steam will launch DayZ for you. (be sure to copy the addons folder). @R4Z0R49: Thank you very much to fix issue #531, but I think you need to apply it also to the V3S Ural, since it has the same inventory capacity. Thanks and you have all my beans :)
  3. Hi, added also a Taviana server, same IP but port 2304 Enjoy!
  4. Hi, updated the server: - added map as starting gear (Full gear: Makarov, 2x 9mm rounds, Painkillers, Coke, Baked Beans, 2x Bandages and Map) - balanced AI (more bandits) - balanced heli AI - fixed heli crash loot (now spawning more weapons) - implemented an hourly MySQL DB backup - added a Teamspeak server (same IP as Dayz server); everyone welcome to join Ilganna
  5. Hi, Updated the server, now automatically every time it restarts it deletes destroyed vehicles and respawn new ones. Ilganna
  6. Hello, I setup a new DayZ server and I would like to have a stress test. It is hosted in Germany and it's on a 100/100 Megs Internet connection. IP: 85.25.95.93 port 2303 Since this is not my first server, I just wanted to cure some details and enhance it a little bit by adding the following features: - Self Blood Bag - AI Patrols - Auto Refuel - Heli Lift - Towing - Halo Jump - Persistent Debug Monitor There are 80 total vehicles in the server, 10 of them are helis (see picture). Server lifecycle is 3 hours, then it will restart (it will advise 1h, 30 min, 10 min, 5min and 1 min before). Heli crash are configured to spawn every 15 minutes (12 total before restart). The difficulty is set to veteran and the timezone is UTC-3 Let me know in case there will be some bugs/issues. Thanks Ilganna
  7. Hello, I have read the server requirements but I'm wondering if one of my "dusty" hw boxes can host a DayZ server. The specification are: HP Proliant DL380 G5: 2 x Quadcore Intel E5320 Xeon Processors 1.86GHz (total 8 cores) 14GB RAM 2x 72GB SAS disks RAID1 (OS reserved) 2x146GB SAS disks RAID (application reserved) HP Proliant DL380 G4: 2 x Intel Xeon Processors 3.4GHz (dual processors, no multi core) 8GB RAM 2x 72GB SCSI U320 disks RAID1 Note that these machines will be hosted in a DC where the 100Mbp/s bandwith, unlike most of the reseller of servers that shares between the hosts, will be exclusively for my machines (and costing really a lot of money). Thanks for your input.

    Soo many threads...

Thanks for the tip Jimmy, however my mainboard doesn't permit much: this pc is an HP branded one and I cannot modify much settings... :( @mZLY: Yes I tweaked this setting, it is the one GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1; and GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1;? Thanks a lot for your replies :)

    Soo many threads...

Hi, as per my CPU I have a desktop i7 860 (bit old, but still performing well), the 2.8-3.40 (turbo mode) GHz one. Yes I searched over forum/youtube for all tweaks, but they are not impacting my perfomance much... I have more than 60FPS on the coast, but as soon as I go in a city, it drops more than the half. I have medium anti aliasing, high shadows very low object details, no post processing @ 1920x1080 resolution. My OS is Win8 Pro 64 bit I found also a strange "bug" that I need to remove affinity (ARMAOA.EXE process) from CPU6 and 7, otherwise as soon as I move around, the FPS are dropping and then raising constantly. Thanks!

    Soo many threads...

Hello, I found many threads (tech support mainly) about performance issues with this (avesome!) mod. To be honest, I do suffer from this issue as well even if my PC should handle it more (28 fps in cities) than perfectly (I7, 16GB RAM, GTX670 2GB, SSD HD etc...) I'm curios about on which HW the mod was tested by devs: even on those machine the performance was dropping so much? I know that there are a lot of factors to take in consideration (like that many things are on PC side rather than server side), but I was just wondering if maybe could you just give us some hint on hardware that may run flawlessly the mod (no need to have manufacturers, just some spec). On a side note, since I just purchased Arma 2 and get access to this alpha mod, is there a way to support (donate) for it? I'm having great time and, on my point of view, in waiting for the standalone (that I will purchase separately), I want just to show my support/gratitude to the team that made DayZ available. Thanks guys!
