    Oh, yes, sorry. Disable Hyper-threading. That should help to fix your issue.

    i7 is terrible for gaming, be it on laptop or desktop version. The reason is hyperthreading, that thing with ARMA II drops 10% of performance. Meanwhile other games you might have a max of 4% of performance. i7 for any versions is terrible for gaming, and laptops are kind of worse, if the purpose is gaming. Always go for a PC, seriously. I've been a Laptop Gamer for more than 3 years and I know what I'm talking about.

    Issue is that you are using i7, hyper-threading reduces 10% of performance with ARMA II. That is where you problem is. The max perforamance an i7 has over an i5 is just 4%, however it comes with a minus 10% performance for other games. i7 is not worth it if you are into gaming, get i5. It is more stable. Or Xeon.
