This is probably due to the fact that there's not a proper private hive release for 1.7.7 yet, therefore something broke along the way. My best recommendation if you want all those extra features again is to just downgrade, at least until a proper hive build is released.

We at HFBServers currently offer Epoch Chernarus and Taviana, with plans on adding other maps as demand shows for them. We host our servers on E3s (and have even started upgrading some to the 4th generation Intel CPU, Haswell), which provides great performance for DayZ at pretty much any capacity. Let me know if you want any more information.

Like Domi said, you're not going to get DayZ to work on Linux since it's just not compatible right now. Maybe on WINE or something like that.

Which patch specifically are you looking for? I'm pretty sure the Windows and Linux beta updates are separate, so the link I gave above is the latest you'll be able to get for linux.

You're probably not going to find many at this time due to how new the mod is and the fact that it doesn't support popular database methods such as Reality.

Yes, we offer both Taviana EU and COM editions in our Ultimate Package product, and with any map pack installed it will show on DayZ Commander.

We are currently offering a 50% off sale on our servers, $10 for a 20 slot server and $15 for a 50 slot server at HFBServers.com. Hosting DayZ mod requires Windows and a lot of resources, so honestly you will not find a server for under $10 (or even $20) very easily, especially one that runs well for ~40 slots.
