So today our newbie guy got his first kill in DayZ. Here's the story. Was just six people on the srever and half of them was our team. Me, my buddy and newb. Was a good time to show him the ropes and we didn't expected to encounter anyone at all at the starter area. Few people that log in this early are mostly some desperate NVG farmers at NWAF. But we did encountered some guy. What really surprised me that once he saw that there's three of us - he started to scream something like "I'm close! I'm close!" via voice. And ducked behind railroad with Lee... WTF really? If only he had more patience and less panic... So while he screamed this nonsense our newb (who still have some major issues with aiming and overall game mechanics) managed to crawl behind his back and shoot him. Palmface.

I was about to troll here gently. Like Oh wow! Another boasting therad :) But actually... Really good story. Thank you.

Don't get attached to the gear. This is it. We just abandoned whole "camp" idea for now and got few extra characters to save most essential stuff like NVG at their packs :D

Yep. Had our cars with loot stolen. Lost pack of AS50s, Bizons, NVGs and so on... Now we are more cautious and paranoia is not a joke to us anymore.

We got second server running few days ago and i'd like to ban people for DCing. But i can't. It is alpha. Might happen in release version though.

I was helping that newly spawned survivor and we was looting some buildings near Electro. When he ate The Beans! I tol'd him that we are not allowed to eat beans. But he ate them! He broke the rules God d***it! He broke the rules and he.... Arrrgh! I'm so angry right now!

Nah, too obvious. We need to do this at Survivor HQ board. Something like... I helped that guy but i was so angry because he saw my beans first and ate them! I'm so angry man! Yo stole mah beans! Yo broke the rules! You need to die!!! :D

Go in Cherno. Somebody on forums told me that there's a huge maket where you can trade guns for beans.

Hey there fellow bandits! Time to brag about guns we like and kills we made with it. As for myself my weapons of choice is M1911 and M14 AIM. One for close quarter fights in the zombie infested areas and PVE while other for PvP only. 1911. Good firing speed, lethal up in close, acceptable sights and frame, lots of ammo. Preferable tactic. I’m just sprinting as close as I can get to my target with disregard to my safety (Works most of the time. Hard to hit sprinting target, takes a lot of practice to aim in advance) and unload full clip at it. Or single shots versus zeds. M14 AIM. Good firing speed, lethal at mid range, good scope, big clip size, somehow hard to find ammo. Killing dozen military zeds mostly do the trick. Preferable tactic. I fire from crouched position. Just one bullet at first shot and watch closely where it hit. If it hit near my target I just spam 3-4 more just to make sure. Then I change my position regardless of the situation. And I always make control shots if my target fell down.

What did you expect? You trade with bandits. We have a small allied group in our ranks. We do not trade but we share and cover each other's arses during raids. You just need to choose your friends well. But trading... Pointless atm but whole idea sounds rather interesting. I'm looking forward to this and hope it will be developed in something meaningfull later. On the other hand someone will always try to turn the tables so you need to earn some respect or be plainly feared to mess with.
