We removed rMod. Back to normal Dayz. Apparently, nobody plays rMod. We have also added CCTV. Great in hot zones and a good addition for base security.

Thinking about moving to rMod.

WDC is still down this is day 4 man. I'm not moving to LA. Not interested in a avg ping of 160-200 and having to redo my BE filters. I'm not going to argue about the ping either. Ping test from my location to WDC is 17. In-game my low end is 25 but more of an avg of 40. Ping test to LA is about an 82 so in-game will double that to a minimum of 160. Probably lose all my east coast players. Also, not long ago wasn't LA ddos'd as well...like recently? Twitter channel is a joke...can't even get someone to put up a post like hey guys sorry...we're being ddos'd, we'll be back with an update. The irc channel....that guy Allanstrings is a real POS. I went over to irc to get some support a little while back and as soon as I start asking questions I get trolled by several people. Reason was,I didnt pick a nick and went with the mbbit name...they said I couldn't be taken seriously because I didnt' pick a nick. Now where is that said anywhere on the irc channel or rules? Nowhere? So I told Allanstrings to fuck off and got banned. I didn't even know he was an admin. Whats going on over there? Ya'll got a bunch of 15 year olds high on aderal running the show? This is the 3rd attack in 3 weeks. We need to be compensated...next month is free or something Do you realize how hard it is keeping players on a serv thats always down? I would never recommend dayz.st's services to anyone with a straight face. Horrible customer service, horrible service...if you want to talk to someone you have to come to dayzmod.com and put up a complaint thread, receive heck from a mod and if your lucky a member will say the name "Ersan...go talk to him" Its like an audition for cirque du soleil to get to someone with a pulse. Sorry for the rant, but the service at dayz.st is completely unacceptable.

Any idea when WDC will be back on line and what exactly is going on? Its been almost 72 hours.

Always being ddos'd. Been attacked 3x in the last 3 weeks. Dayz.st twitter is garbage...never any updates. Like its so hard to go type, hey we're down...sorry, be back up soon. I got perma banned from the support irc channel because I was being heckled by staff [allanstrings] for not picking a custom nickname and told him to eff off [didn't know he was an admin]. They were saying nobody takes someone serious if they don't pick a custom name. WTF kind of policy is that...no warnings or prompts saying HEY GUY PICK A NAME OR YOUR NOT SERIOUS ENOUGH FOR US. They want me to change to LA because they have ddos protection, but a few weeks ago they were down for ddos. I'm not going to ping across the country to LA [i'm on east coast] and have to re-edit my BE filters. As it stands right now, WDC has been down for 3 days. Its so frequent, consumers should be getting some sort of compensation.

Nights are very playable with the additional lighting I have added. Now with the 1.7.7.1 update and full moons, night play is very attractive. Yes there are addon's and modifications, but they are storyline based. Nothing unrealstic like self blood bags or vehicle repair stations. Our main priority is to preserve a sense of realism. We don't have hundred's of vehicles. But we do have many vehicles on the server, all of which are in appropriate locations. Becoming mobile will not be a hard task. You won't spawn in Kamenka and see a HMV within arm's reach. But if you look around, you will find acceptable transportation that will get you out of East Cutty. Hand radio's are functional. Important broadcasts, warnings, as well as story-line based missions can be heard via radio. Once you have a map, finding a radio will not be difficult. Car radio's are working, but only music for the time being. Pre-recorded broadcasts will be coming soon. Not only do we have storyline based missions, but we also have missions that aren't storyline based that go off randomly. You do not need a hand radio for the random missions. I use Sarge Ai with static spawn locations. I believe there are three area's that have Bandit Ai. I've dumbed the Bandit Ai down to almost the bare minimum. I've placed them based on; what I believe, to be logical locations. If you were a bandit you would scavenge area's with the best resources possible. Two area's out of three have Soldier Ai that serv as a self-cleaning oven for your convenience As a bonus for having a high Humanity rating, several wardrobe options can be unlocked! Those with a humanity rating of 20,000 will unlock the entire wardrobe. Our max ping is set to 450 in hopes to attract players globally. He never deleted them, but moved them into another folder. So your saying just put those files back in their place and rerun A2 and Ao2 to the menu's?

What does "get them back again"...whats them? Wooly-back-jack...that's exactly how I had him install it.

This isn't an installation issue for me, but a friend of mine who just bought the game. I don't have his specs handy, but I believe they exceed whats needed. I can provide that information later. He bought this through Steam, like I did. Once he was all installed, got dayz commander going, put my server IP in and joined...he got this: He removed said files and can log in and play on my server but his FPS is super duper low. Like 7-15. I had him optimize his in-game settings with little improvement. Nobody else on the serv has FPS numbers that low. I'm thinking, he screwed up the installation of Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA? I've never heard of having to remove files for the game to work. Any help or suggestions are appreciated...

I noticed a bunch of new BE filters. Do I need to use all of them? Will my serv have issues if all of them aren't present? Thanks.
