Just run everything on low. It'll give you an advantage when trying to spot players. It isn't as pretty, but it works better.

I read the new changelog, and I read this: * [FIXED] - Infection will now be properly removed at tents after logout. What exactly does it mean? Does it mean that if I am infected and i rest in a tent, I will be "cured"?
