I'm thinking that this will scare away a lot of the more casual players. I know DayZ isn't a game for casual gamers, but with the current system they still have a place here. The loot system you're proposing (Is that the right word?) will make them flee because they can't find anything. I want to keep the loot system we already have because I don't want to see empty server after empty server.

DayZ is horribly optimized right now. That is your problem. It should be better optimized in the future.

A lot of people complain about the KoS attitude. It is a problem that needs to be dealt with. Today I logged in just outside of Balota. I then, unarmed, ran in there, just to be shot on sight by some guy with an M4. -

You can start pumping fuel now. Then you might be able to move it a few kilometers by the end of 2014. Trains use a crazy amount of fuel!

I'm pretty sure they will be optimizing it later. From what I've heard, the code is written so it can be optimized a lot in the future. Also, check out some optimization guides on ze internets. Just search for "DayZ SA optimization guide". There is one on Reddit which is pretty good.

No one checks out the north anymore. I think your best bet is Cherno, Elektro and Balota. Everybody goes there, especially the freshspawns. They love it :D
