Bases will be on the server you build them on only. -
You'll have to memorize the coast. You'll have to memorize the cities/towns. You'll have to memorize landmarks. That should be it :D

Some people use Mumble too. They're all pretty good, but I personally stick with Teamspeak.

Pretty cool, but why the "Demo" on the map? It's pretty confusing...

I don't think this is even close to reality. I'm thinking that in real life people would group up and start building. They would build walls and start farming and so on. It would be mostly like in the 19th century apart from all the modern guns and such. Nobody would kill for lulz. I really don't think KoS would exist. People would either stay away from each other or seek confrontation. The people who seek confrontation would of course be the bandits, but even though they're bandits, they would still talk to other people. They wouldn't just be lying in a bush killing everyone who passes them.

:facepalm: So... When do you think it will be finished? I don't think it ever will. Developing a game like DayZ is an ongoing process which never ends. I think the development of the game only stops when the devs abandons it.

Esc+Alt+F4 Done. I just found a hole in that timer thing. It's been suggested a lot of times, and it probably is the best idea for it, but it's just way to easy to go around by pressing Alt+F4. -

What if I lie behind cover, looking around, in Elektro. Then I center my view on Sniper Hill. He hears the cough even though I haven't seen him. Now he knows there's someone in Elektro he can shoot... -
Sprint towards the wall and log out at the moment you touch the wall. Then log in again on another server.
