Just wait for it. Once they add more zeds and fix their glitches, they will be a lot harder to fight. Also, people don t mutate into zombies. It's a disease, like rabies. It makes you crazy. -
Minimize the game and do something else. Go for a run or something.

It's just not in the spirit of DayZ. DayZ is meant to be a "realistic zombie simulator", and it can't be that with Tanks, Bloodsuckers and other crazy shit. Nothing can make you mutate like that. -

If you find running boring then this game isn't for you. You'll have to do it for at least three months more until vehicles are added :D

It doesn't matter because to other players it's barely hearable. You have to get really close before other players can hear you walking.

30 km/h is pretty fucking fast on a shitty old bike with 20+ kg on your back. The speed would have to depend of the weight you're carrying.
