I've got about 80 hrs in. Have been playing on low pop " friendly no KoS server", just to get more comfortable with everything. Got KoS'd today. Live and learn.

So, I logged out with a fully geared character in Elektro. 2 days later, I log back in... as a fresh spawn on the coast near Berezino. Oh well. Dayz being Dayz. So I loot around Berezino for over an hour and find NOTHING. Literally nothing. My guy is starving. At the risk of being accused of server hopping, I change servers...as my fully geared character in Elektro. Has anyone else had this happen, and anyone else ever found a completely empty loot server? (alpha?):D

I have 7 or 8 public servers in my favorites, only ones I play on. I thought maybe at first it was a server mistake on my part too. Just wierd.

No, just standing still. floated right out. some real criss angel stuff.

Glitches. Has happened to me twice in past week. once at Rify shipwreck, once on a crane. Just floated out and dropped to the ground, both times fully geared.

I've got about 50 hrs in. Met two friendlies, traded with them. I've been killed 3 times, twice shot in the back, twice shot while my weapon was shouldered. Wouldn't think I was much of a threat with no weapon in my hand. Oh well, live and learn.

Finally playing dayz. I have been waiting a year to play. I was able to upgrade my internet, got a custom built rig from cyberpower pc. So, first spawn was on the coast ( of course), immediately headed inland. For almost an hour and a half, found nothing. Even the berry bushes and apple trees were empty. I was starving. Only weapon I found was a gardening hoe. Found a wool hat. Did not meet any other players, was on a low pop server. First zombie I was able to kill with my trusty hoe, but was bleeding. used my rag to stop that. Second one must have spawned right behind me. I was in some small village, not sure the of the name. It whacked me a couple of times, I'm bleeding again. No rags. I take a few swings, no good. So I just take off running. I stop, few more swings, no good. So lets run some more. Eventually bled into unconsciousness. And believe or not, I had found a can opener but no food. I love this game.

I got killed in Cherno 2 days ago.

OOPS! That would be Fallout 3 ;).

For me it seems I go for long stretches without seeing ant, then see a bunch and get chased by 2 or 3 at the same time. Kinda hit and miss.

I found one inside a military tent, at either stary sobor or vybor, can't recall which one at the moment.

HA HA, made you look :D. Maybe 0.58 will have hooker and stripper zombies.

I'm still kind of a noob, maybe 30 hrs in. I'm only playing low pops until I get comfortable with everything. I haven't even seen another player yet, just zombies. I'm going to try and be friendly, we'll see how it goes.

Had much better luck after my second spawn. Hit Berezino and headed west. In less than 2 hrs I was fully geared. fire ax, AK, mp5, more food and drinks than I could carry, 2 canteens, antibiotics, morphine, matches, water purification tabs, charcoal tabs, even found an apple tree with apples :). Dyaz is a fickle mistress indeed.

Get a home blood pressure monitor. Most drug stores/phatmacies sell them. get a small one that goes around your wrist, it will measure bp and pulse. normal adult bp is around 120/80, pulse 60-80. I apologize if I'm telling you things you already know, just trying to help.. good luck.

It's the "fight or flight" response from the sympathetic nervous system. In times of stress, extra adrenaline is released. It has numerous effects including causing your heart to beat faster and harder. ( don't mean to sound like a smart ass, army medic for 12 yrs.)

Posted last month about my pitiful 1.5 internet speed, appreciate all the comments. I live in a rural area, very limited isp's. Just found out another isp can give me 7 mbps, maybe 10. going to jump all over that. Also ordered a new custom built from cyberpower. Should be here next week. I know Dayz is alpha, has bugs, and I will die alot. I'm ok with that. I'm not that good at video games anyway :). Really hopeful I can play this game. Cheers.
