You know you love your sidearm! You want it at all times right? Well it sucks when you put it on your chest holster or even your pants or top and you get shot once and then your backup pistol get's wrecked. What's good about a backup pistol when it's wrecked. Well these ideas can fix that and improve/be cool in many other areas. Big Military Pistol Holster Rare (4 Slots) pistol slot Goes on character Spawns in military style area %43 faster in getting sidearm out! + PISTOL PROTECTION (Faster speed but holster is bigger therefore it can be shot MUCH easier) Police Pistol Holster Medium (4 Slots) pistol slot Goes on character Spawns in military style areas + in police station or RARE in civ houses %33 faster in getting sidearm out! + PISTOL PROTECTION (Slower speed but holster is smaller therefore it's harder to get your pistol shot) WITHOUT a pistol holster the pistol will go in the character back pocket being slower to get out but still faster than a M4. Holsted/Not holsted pistol can also be seen on character model at all times even with M4 AXE + lots of other gear, this will show the other player that this player is ARMED as pistols can currently be holsted and not seen when holsted unlike AXE's M4's ect ect. And last thing dual weapons. It might be OP but i'd LOVE to have a 2nd main weapon on my guy. But it takes like %22 Slower to get that gun out. so it's not so OP. It would be really really cool in my opinion if you put your bigger backpacks back at camp and you went in cherno with a smaller backpack + just a sidearm on your thi OR in your back pocket, less to loose when you die and you WILL be faster than almost every player there. In & out quickly. Short overview: Pistol holsters will 1.Help character development 2.Help know when someone is armed (Checking players out before saying hi to them will benefit you well) 3.Help keep your pistol VERY SAFE. It's hard for it to get shot with it on your side. 4.Pistol being seen at all times in there back pocket. 5.Faster pistol switching. If i had to pick one idea here. It would have to be visible pistols at all time. And a decent quick animation for them. HELP PLZ! Tips on finding, AKM,AK74,M4's,AK101 + Pistols & mags Way back on the first release of dayz me and friends used to find and play with the M4 and it's great attachments. A great feature in DayZ SA. However after a recent amount of ruffly 15+ hours on dayz sa in the past week i noticed that i have not held the new AKM,AK74,AK101 or the original M4 in a very very long time! Pretty bored of the standard rifles in the game but after being "THAT GUY" who server hoped 8 odd times in barracks to find any weapon of interest i came out with complete empty hands. How dose one get hold of ANY auto rifle weapons? Too many hours of searching never get me any great guns. TLDR: Finding the AKM,AK74,M4's,AK101 + Pistols & mags seems to be near impossible. How dose one get such weapons in a game were military spawns civ type loot.

I was playing yesterday and i was having the character glitching back problem. And my friend was having it a little too, we changed server and we were still having the problem. We also noticed we were dieing from starvation unbelievable quick. I started playing today and i'm still having the glitch back problem even on a low pop server. And i ate 3 cans of food and my hunger literally hardly even changed... I'm now starving. My connection is 90mb down and 5mb up while playing... What's the problem? Anyone eels got this?

Hi. I understand the whole energized thing btw it's probably just me not being used to being hungry again on this new character that's all. The rubber banding dose not stop after 20 seconds. It just keeps disrupting gameplay. I have no idea why.

Stand still for 1 min you can suicide. This game is an ALPHA. we need a dev tool to get around better. No reason why this can't be a thing.

So were did the party go? You know Them cluster fuck parties? Literally none of them playing on 40 slot servers? Have people just got better and ignore all human interaction? Or has kamy and elektro just become massive (DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO ENTER) locations? I mean you will find more loot at elek/kamy on a 40 slot server than a low pop 15 slot.

Most people on exp decide to try and get the new gear and try new stuff. Minimizing the risk of being killed :P With that said some guy killed me and my friends i said in chat how did we die??(Massive desync we think, he was in the building on our screen however not on his) He said "help" that's it. refused to talk.

If i could change one thing? Change- Loot spawns. Tac vests back at military. Mosins/SKS's at barracks more. Fix- Desync (Played/screwed by it too much now) Add- More content, Cloths, weps, cars. Just more content.

Hello There. So for sure buildings need more work for (gameplay) purposes. So me and my mate have seen so so many armed & geared players in the military jail and there is literally no way you can kill/raid the guys on the top floor. No matter what you do you can't win. It's always the same thing. You just have to let them combat log. Or you just have to leave. No way can you get up them stairs without being shot. Anyone got some good tactics?

Be cool to see a ladder/roof on them jails to flank them. Even the ability to run upstairs

I really don't get killed that much as a new spawn. I find more kind people than bandits.

I was playing the mod and i noticed the graphics are about the same yet people stand out, there like 12 pixels in detail at 400m. But on standalone there like 2 pixels in detail even at the same distance at 400m? Any one notice this? (Medium to high setting at 1920x1080 with AA of or ON dose nothing) Any tips to making players easier to spot on SA?

1.Didn't work.. might have used wrong HDD was it meant to be the one with DayZ Install on? 2.I did i found servers but they are not resetting my char.

So iv'e had this issue ever since the DayZ Mod. If refresh the servers 2-3 times my internet will die. Google wont load. NOTHING on the internet will load. Yet TeamSpeak 3 will still be ok. I can still play online on battlefield 4. Just if i open anything new my internet dies? (My brother has the same issue on his machine) Any guesses?

I have no idea but i joined a server called 24/7 DayZ (xxxxxx) forgot the rest And we found loot spawning everywhere. Balota tents had it's loot spawns back. Some items/mags spawned on sandbags. Some on the floor. We noticed loot was spawning in sheds that NEVER used to spawn items. I even found a backpack on a chair in a house :D Did the game update without me knowing? Or was it a modded server (Which i'm 95% sure modded servers are not possible)

Now playing. Lots of loot in small simple sheds. And even balota :D
