  1. But the human can broke this primitive instincts because he hasnt really a deadly enemy and normayl enough brain to think a bit wider then "simple" animals. And the more you think about that this is only a game where you dont need to fear because nobody hurts you (maybe expect from making you angry by extreamly spawnkilling or something else), then you more see how broken humans are. If i shoot every time i see an other survivor then the problem will only be bigger - thats it. The only way to broke this never ending cycle is to trust and to forgive - but a lot of players are to egoistic or simply to stupid - maybe sometimes both ;)
  2. ...and this mindest is the real problem. The only thing that brings you to shoot other people is YOUR psychology that say to YOU that a unknown player with a gun will shoot on you. For me is this mindset idiotic. The only danger in this game are the zombies because they will hurt you ever! All the other violence in this game comes from the broken mind of humans...

    Giving up, to much stupidity.

    No the Problem are these idiots on all the servers worldwide. Its a fact that in the early weeks and months of this mod the player were more friendly then now. Why? Because the corecommunity of ArmA is always/mostly friendly and the most of them have enough brain to understand the game. And what have we now, when all the kids and/or kill-adicted unsocial freaks running all the day over the server? Right! You will be shot under 60 sec after respawn even if you havent items. You get killed after you help other people in the game and you get killed if you try to communicate with them. Yes - PVP is a function of this mod, but in these days its the only one. In DayZ you see the true nature of humans - in a world without consequences you will only recieve bad things. The most people are totaly nearsighted and if they dont become any rewards they wouldnt do good things to other people - its really so sad... I think the only way to bring some gentleness back in the game are rewards for helping or negative rewards for killing survivors. At the moment the best way in the game is to kill all what you see even if it wants to help you. You get a kill in your list ( "yeaaaaaah!!! im the best roxxor!!!!!11" -.-') and you get new stuff and the game gives you nothing for fear (exept other players) - even on difficult servers or servers with other maps or mods like Namalsk Crysis.

    Dayz = PvP

    The biggest Problem for me is the posibility to quit at every time and the "server-hopping". As long as there are no consequence, especially bans!, this mod makes me no fun. I cant describe how i hate those players! They shot at sight in the back and when they are to stupid to hit and get shot - bang! logout. When you go to the airfield and you wait 5 minutes in the barracks there will login people with a very high chance and when you are unlucky you get again a shot in the back - why? Because they log in from server (empty or low filled) to server to find some loot - but have no fucking courage and skill to risk her own life. This evening there were a whole clan!!!!!! (-EOF-) that hops from server to server. What the fuck is that for a shit?! I want a permanent instant ban for those assholes.

    Primary weapon disappearing.

    The same problem here. played with 1.7.1.2. lost the most of my inventroy incl. primary weapon MP5SD and secondary weapon G17 with all mags, bandages and some tools. I am okay with all bugs in this mod incl. swimming 15 min trough the ocean but THIS is SHIT.

    @DrTyWords Sorry but this isnt right. Of curse you will be carefull by contact other people you dont know, but sure you want contact them! no one want to life alone! and no one with a "good brain" shoots on people they dont know - also not in a zombie-apokalypse! you can also check you conclusion: if all people have fear and avoid contact to other people, why then some of them shoot on others?

    My solution to the 'shoot-on-sight' problem.

    I think this game need definitly a change. In a game the behavior of the people isnt the same like the reality. Why you should kill one human under 50000 zombies without saying a word??? But in a game there are lots of people who think that will be funny. I like games where i can be the bad one, without having a handicap, but in this mod you i think this cant work well. Its too frustrating if you get killed 1) as noob after 10 minutes or 2) as a player who survived 5, 10 or 20 days without killing a survivor by a headshot from the back or over 2km from a sniper. There is no fun. Its only trolling from "assholes". There should be (immediate!) advatages for "social" people. Maybe better chance for loot, better persistance or better resisitance against zombies or against headshots. Or give them better equip after dead (for example a piece of there old equip like the map, the old pistole or a mainweapon) or a better spawnpoint (in the near of good equip in the middle of the island). At the moment there is "no reason" to dont kill other players (except posibility of teamplay) A good change will be a "instant communikation menue" i think, so that you can fast communicate with the guy next to you. Maybe you can use the normal ArmA communicationmenue (numberkeys) and change the entrys, for example in "Freeze", "Dont shoot", "im friendly", "Take cover" and so on and so on. At the moment you will be killed before you can write a word in the chat and this sucks for me heavy!
