I got beat up tonight by a girl because my axe was like, "nope, not coming to work right now." She made me bleed pretty bad, and I cursed like a drunken sailor. But in the end when my blade sank into her skull, I realized that everything was going to be right with the world and that maybe my day was going to be just fine after all.... When I logged out my wife was like, "I might be pregnant." :huh:

Ive played the mods and I think the SA should differentiate itself. This is how it should play out, imo: You spawn in, find a backpack and gear. You save the pack in a nice place, and back out of the game later. You come back to that same server, and go to find your pack. Its there, you're relieved no one found it. This server is now full, but its the one you had to join to get your gear. You had no choice other than play on another server where you don't have anything saved. So now you have your pack, the server is full. You decide to risk looting a barracks, but leave your pack in a tree for safe keeping just in case you get robbed. You start to loot the barracks when suddenly you hear footsteps around you. Then it happens out of nowhere... black screen, "You are Dead". Your saved pack, and your player both disappear after a 10 minute timer. When your body gets cleared, so does any persistent loot you saved. When you spawn in fresh, you have nothing no matter what you did in your last life, unless you can get back to that gear in 10mins. or less. (Im also for not being able to loot your own body, ever = Complete total perma death.)

Its the exact same, just no 3rd person. ;) And on to the new hotfix of loot spawns.. I just ran through some stable servers, both hardcore and regular, official US West, East, etc. and loot was everywhere.. it was truly amazing. I really like that you can get geared up quickly and move on to doing something in game, rather than just being in a giant scavenger hunt-race for loot. Now a trip to Balota or NWAF means you and your friend will get what you seek, rather than waste your time. This means more players venture to those spots, and things get spread out.

Stellar first post, you'll fit in here just fine :facepalm: Back on topic. I just confirmed the hell out of this. All tents are spawning loot, loot is everywhere. Its amazing. No more scavenger hunt from hell.. now its time to focus on having some fun and playing the game, rather than hoarding and coveting my loot for days on end. Found a pristine LRS, first ever in that condition on the ground in a tent, then I proceeded to find so much ammo and attachments/scopes it was crazy. One thing I did notice though.. entire NWAF = 1 FNX. No other weapons. Not saying thats normal, but did seem a tad off in my previous experience.

Here I am too late to answer.. damn it, I really wanted 10 points. That was an easy one. First thing I saw was the threads.

This is really good news to me.. I was growing tired of feeling like one of few that could get geared up fully in an hour or 2, consistently. This way more players will be able to gear up quickly, allowing more flexibility in the game rather than being restricted by 10% of the player base finding all the loot first, and the rest getting the scraps for the next 3.5 hours of each server cycle. Also the reasons for players to go North are there now. And that is my home.. so please come say hi ;)

I commend you on your obvious care for your own family.. but as far as this idea goes, it would really be best for another game, or in the least a mod of the SA. But if a game like this came out, I'd play it. ;)

..and the 2 of you cross paths, what do you do? Do you shoot them, or let them pass? Lets toss aside the, "well if I felt threatened.." as we all know its shoot to kill for most in those scenarios. But what do you do?, when its just a few players.. 2-3 max. and you dont need to shoot them, but you could. I was playing earlier.. server restarted. So I rejoin, and continue my trek from the NWAF to Balota. Shortly after rejoining I get to the Pavlova Military Base. I hit "P" thinking the server has refilled again but its just myself and 1 other player. Then literally 10 seconds later I see him dash across the forest and into the barracks in front of me. Now I had myself an easy kill, no problem. He had no idea I was there, with 2 on the server he was carefree as a bird. But I thought, "Well, if that was me.. I would either think hacker or not want to play this game from my horrible luck after being shot like that." So I decided to let him go.. and it felt really empty. I mean I was on a mission, so he was far less important. Time was of the essence for me, so I just let him go. Not my style, to not at least talk to him or do something. But I guess in the end Im glad as if that was me, I would have wanted the same in return. Just let me pass if you have better things to do ;)

Yes it works very well.. I had a guy who holed up inside a barracks building last night. I walk up and tell him he must now defend himself as Im gonna kill him. He responds with laughter and says, "yeah you just try to come in here after me man, youll get shot so f___ing fast.. lol, noob" So I say back, "well, okay.. but when I kill you. Dont think it was hacking or cheating okay?" He says, "What are you going to hack through the wall you f__ing cheater?" I say, "Nope. Im going to shoot the ceiling and walls around you, using the ricochet mechanics in game to bounce my bullets until I hear you get hit. Then I will come in and put one in your head. See, being in that little shower room means I have little chance of missing you. While you cant shoot out at all, except to hit the flat wall across from you. You ready?" And then before he could respond I unloaded a full coupled mag in about 5 seconds into the sink wall and ceiling and floor.. all in a mess of gunfire. The mag emptied and I look around the corner. He dead. :)

I can give you a very serious pro tip. Bullets ricochet. No cover is good cover in this game if you understand and practice. ;)

FOV settings + Object rendering = Binoculars useless. I used to NEED them in the mods, now I honestly would maybe use them once or twice.

Known bug. Wait for fix.
