Thank you :) ..but I did state that my initial intention was not to kill him. I had initially decided to just chat it up with him, since it was an experimental server and night and all, I figured I would give him a break from my usual, "hey buddy, get ready because I am going to kill you" or worse just a round to the head without any warning. So I really did intend to be nice, thats why I stated that to begin with. Its just funny to me, that after 1.5 years of playing full on KOS style.. with barely any reprieve, the first time I try to be nice the guy just does not even notice that I am there.. lol, too much!

This. I mean no offense OP, but you obviously have not played Arma 2-3 enough. I think also this game is in some early development stage.. not sure but I think its ALPHA?

No but seriously, Alpha. Its far too early to start trying to make adjustments on our end. Alpha is for adding content, Beta is for fixing the bugs, and by final release this game should play out much like the mods did.

Only at range. That is why I focus mostly on CQB style PVP.. The SA seems content on not letting people attack from distances so Ill wait until it does before I go back to my old style of playing like in the mods.

If you're enjoying the mod I'd check back in about 6 months.. things should be quite different by then. The groundwork being laid down in the experimental servers right now is promising so do make sure to check back later. Right now, its not worth writing home about unless you really enjoyed it months ago to begin with.

Translation: OP wants handcuff keys and is willing to trade something in return. Ill do it. Get me some binoculars on exp regular or hardcore and I can give you keys on any server.. well, except exp.. No keys on my characters there as of yet, I could find some fast though.

Ill try to show up and run security outside to keep any bad guys out. If I do make it, you will not see me most likely.. but if anyone approaches with a gun drawn acting aggressive I will be quick to take them down. If all goes well, I only ask that someone take the time to post a video of the reading.. I will post of my security work.

The settings are still bugged and do nothing.. its 1:1 mouse movement, where as before there were all sorts of input lag issues. I find it flawless now, it did however take a moment to get used to.. I almost forgot what it was like to have it respond properly to my commands ;)

If anything its the learning curve. I remember my firefights in the mods getting better and better over time from an enemies skill perspective. I think people in the SA just need some more time to get used to things... and now that we have real mouse control and iron sight zoom things should get markedly better. All we need next is scopes that actually do what they are supposed to do.

Ive always thought we should have a random spawn on each log in.. regardless of where you log out, you're logging in somewhere else. No server ghosting, loot-server hopping, etc.. Fixes a ton of things and makes the game a little more exciting to me. You always have to figure out where you are when you spawn in = good idea to me.

^ this.. they just always spawned half in the ground and thus were very hard to see. Ive tried them before and find the open front sight with no carry handle is best until you find a scope of any kind.

I hate that everyone stays on the coast.. its so dead in the inner parts of the map, and I just get so bored on the coast after playing endless hours in the mods, I cant hack it in the coastal towns. Ive done my turn of exploring the new areas, but after that it was all inner Chernarus for me. I wish more would do the same. People should know that the trek to the NWAF is well worth it if you dont meet any hostility there.. and most do not these days

No bino luck for me so far, but I can say the mouse movement and fluid smooth silk that is the guaranteed server messaging is SOOOOOOO damn good. Its probably the best update to the SA so far. No joke. Thats the spirit! LOL.. no but seriously, you probably right.

Im positive he didnt in hindsight. The times he seemed to pause was only when he was looking at loot on the ground. He never once noticed I was there.. how could he have and not done a single thing, completely ignoring me? Thats just implausible. But what is plausible is he was focused and felt safe, so he never even noticed. I mean, think about it.. would you or anyone you know ignore someone talking to them in the dark at the NWAF on a full server? Honestly.. anyone? Everyone Ive met would run, or turn off the light, or look for the person talking, or start shooting, or talk back, type back..something. Not, ignore and just loot on like nothing was to be worried about. Thats tantamount to full on ignoring a zed attacking you.

I see little reason why the game should spawn in broken or useless items like damaged scopes such as the ACOG.. why even have that in the loot spawn? Just have nothing spawn at all and add performance maybe? I mean if an ACOG is useless outside of worn, have it spawn in worn or pristine state. Or not at all. Save that "slot" for anything else of actual use to someone.. anyone. It gets old finding broken useless scopes, it reminds me so much of finding empty tin cans and toilet paper rolls in the mods. Hated that crap.. and at least the tin cans were useful to some degree ;)
