One of the ideas I had was being able to create a "spare clothes" package that takes up 4 slots and you can put any pants, jacket/shirt, and hat inside of it. I think it would be really prudent to be able to change into your night, medic, police, bandit, hero clothing on the fly. And an automatic balance is the fact that you cannot just change shirts if there is gear inside. It would take time to change clothes just like IRL, but at least it would be feasible while carrying gear and not JUST clothes on you. One of the things I personally would do often is put on an Orange Raincoat, Orange Boonie Hat, and Red Track Suit pants to signal to my friend that I am in fact right here next to him.. 5 meters away, Im even waving at him.. good god it cannot be that hard to see me can it? lol ;)

The only people I ever let go by without some sort of interaction or PvP are fresh spawns, and those traveling up and down the coast. I usually just go my own way when I see people on the coast, and this is a holdover from the mods as we just never really killed people on the coast unless it was a setup clan war in my group. I got so used to it that it stuck with me. Its why Im also NEVER on the coast.. lol

Ive got my DPI at 6400 and am loving this insane response in my mouse. I am used to fine, small movements so this is great for me.. now when needed I can spin a 1080 by moving just a fraction of an 1/8 of an inch. :| no but really.. it is too much, I agree. Though I do sort of like it.. it just needs to be turned down a tad bit. Like 1-2 notches. thats all.

Last night I came upon 2 people looting the NWAF southern section.. it was dark and their choice to use a lamp for light was poor and led me straight to them. For a split second I had a shot on one of them while he was walking around the second floor. It was so quick I had little time to decide and my brain said "cover the front door stupid!", and that was a smart move as I had seen what looked like 2 players in there. I move around to the front door and take up position in overwatch. My friend at this point PM's me on steam, so I shift-tab and get into mic chat with him. I tell him where I am and to head this way as there may be some loot soon that he could use. So I proceed to watch the front door for a moment.. but its taking too long for what I would expect it to take 2 people to loot a jail. So I hit "P"... and wouldnt you know it, I actually see the 2 of them disappear off the player list while Im looking at it. I go inside to check, and yep.. logged out. I run across the tarmac a moment later after feeling frustrated over what just happened.. I run to the barracks near the ATC tower, single story barracks not the jail as those are not called "barracks". As I near I can see another player using a flashlight to guide his way as he loots the barracks.. again see dayz night rule #1 never use a light source at the NWAF unless your alone. So I start to sprint towards it, as this I know is an easy kill for me. No one is safe inside the barracks with me around. I am full of confidence that I am finally going to help get my noob buddy some good gear, and as I approach I see him... disappear right in front of me due to logging out. AWWWWW HELL NO! I logged out and called it a night after that.. boo. :(

Boo. Just got stuck in a wall after a server restart.. it rolled me back quite a ways and into the office building which I am now in an impenetrable fortress of invisible walls. I've tried the sprint-vault trick, each and every face has been rolled into, walked, proned, crouched.. no hole seems to exist. Is there any way to have my player reset or moved or is there anything else I can try? I searched and only really see the sprint-vault option.. :(

+1,000 ..and its called DNC, and ironically it did not work at all for its purpose. I have a set still from my USMC service. I use the pants sometimes for hiking.. people always ask me where I got them, LOL.

We actually had this in the mods of DayZ. It was the only way for a while to possibly cure infection as antibiotics were near impossible to find and 75% of the zed hits caused infection needing them or else slow eventual death.. I am not for sleeping. That sounds lame.

Ive been through the entire, ENTIRE Northwest.. its crazy. I have looted more than I have in months.. and I cannot find one at all. Im just going to start shooting people until I find one. Keep your heads low folks.. I need me some binoculars!!!!!!! rawr.

IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD. Seriously I tried for almost 2 hours with other methods.. logging out over and over again. This took all of about 25 seconds to get me out.. your thread needs to be stickied. Thank you for the help. :)

Well, actually ...loot respawn is needed for those instances when servers are full and every town has been looted through within the first 2 hours. Even the Northern towns will be looted by the time you make it there. This is a very poor experience especially for new players. So yes, its needed for that.. but for the general server that still has towns like Novy and Zeleno unlooted this is not really necessary. They seem very focused on getting it right eventually so I would not count on being able to feasibly exploit it come final release.

So my next request is if anyone is near that unnamed town just NW of the NWAF that has the trainstation on stable regular servers? My friend cannot help me for a long time and Id like to get this going soon if I can.. I can lean my body out the wall and you can headshot me hopefully. I have some pretty remarkable loot if my body is lootable so its highly worth your effort if you are close and things work out well.. I would genuinely appreciate any help: Steam name is Lrishjake

Im going to try to have my friend come shoot me through the wall.. see if that works at all. Hopefully. I dont give 2 craps about dying, but not even being able to use the character or 3pp stable servers at all is a big time issue for me. If Im on HC and I start to feel sick from the perspective getting to me, I have no other choice as Exp. is rubber city with the new loot respawn testing. I really hope I can be killed in here..

I guess this little character of mine is locked away for safe keeping or something.. time to play on HC from now on until I hear of some way that will work for me. I swear I tried jumping through those walls for damn near 30 minutes straight

That may be what I have to resort to.. unfortunately Im at the unnamed town with the train station in the far NW.. LOL No ones coming here for a long time. Ive now tried high ping servers.. all the bells and whistles and its just not letting me. Ill keep trying though.. Ive got no other choice I guess?
