For non scoped zoom yes, almost everyone knows that changing your FOV will affect your iron sight zoom and overall player natural zoom, but I dont ever see a difference with actual scope zoom by changing my FOV. When I aim in with my ACOG or LDS or PSU its always the exact same distance that I am viewing. Are you all sure this is what is happening: changing your FOV makes your scope zoom even further? I'd love to see a video showing this, as I stated it does not work for me that way.

Correct me if Im wrong, but when you are scoped in doesn't your FOV not matter as the view when scoped in is fixed and cannot be affected by adjusting FOV? If thats the case, then the old method of using the markers on the scope to estimate range could be used and then you adjust the zeroing of the weapon. If the bullet impact has indeed been fixed that is a glorious thing. :)

I found some really cool camo pants that I not even heard of.. It was like Petrol Gorka Camo or something like that. A P word to start.. cant remember but damn they looked great!

Well.. I guess Ill be looking for heli crashes more than anything else now then as the M4 will probably always be my favorite. I like that now it will be very hard to obtain, and gain the full MP pristine setup that was so easy to get at the tent cities. ;)

You should be able to craft a hook too, with say pliers and sewing kit. Add pliers to sewing kit to craft hook. (use pliers to bend needle into a hook shape) Sewing kit is either ruined or damaged 1 level each time you do this. ;)

No. I never log.. it goes against my morals. And honestly there is no need to make comments like that. Assumptions suck, and that was a pretty big one. :| I have a Razor Mamba and my side buttons are ENTER and ESCAPE. This is a great setup for typical PC use, but when I play DayZ on my couch without the flat surface of a desk I will from time to time hit the side buttons on accident. It has nothing to do with logging, but everything to do with my peripheral setup (using Nostromo keypad and mouse, with little use of keyboard). I hope that explains it. No, Im not overly defensive to being called a c-logger. But I am offended whenever someone who does not know me assumes something negative about me as I strive to be a good person in my life through all things. Sometimes I fail, and I guess that is what makes me defensive. :D

Because I use a Nostromo and prefer to not need my keyboard unless necessary.. as it is now the only time I need it is to talk, and I could even remap that button. But after last night Im rethinking the escape button. It works really, really well for normal PC use but for DayZ and not playing on a desk it is just horrible.. horrible. Im a fool. I know. ;) Edit: Yes, I found 1 AKM mag in the tents at NWAF. 30 seconds later this story happened. :(

Same for if the game crashes and then you have to alt-tab-delete to get it to quit.. your in-game the entire time until the game finally quits out.

Ive been playing with a friend and can confirm that essentially shortly after joining the server your character is in game. So while you see the timer, and the Please Wait on your screen.. you are in game. My buddy Vex who posts here saw this happen when I was logging in after a server restart. I had a 20 something second timer or close to that and then saw please wait for about 30 seconds and he could see me the whole time just standing in the middle of the street. One of the things Ive found that helps break through the please wait screen is press escape.. then continue so it goes back into the game, do not quit. If you do this, most time within a few seconds the game starts. You also will see while you have it "paused" and are looking at the quit menu screen, you can see your player is in game and where he is. I will go add to the bug tracker asap.
