The dispersion is fine imo.. the only reason people have issues honestly is because of games that do not have it. In real life, even in a locked testing brace you will have dispersion at range. Its just a little bit exaggerated in DayZ so it can be understandably annoying at times. For the best weapon the dispersion rate is around 6" at 100m. Now if this is a constant value and every bullet is dispersed 6" well, then that is not good. But if its on a random value that this happens and not every single bullet has a rule of being dispersed by the amount then things are fine. In my experience the dispersion is not constant. It seems more like when you do not take a steady shot that its present, and also on a random level. We have no real idea until a programmer can step in to tell us how prone, crouch, standing affect this.. rapid shots, etc.. For all we know its only present if x and y and z are there.

Thats a new one to me.. Good find! Ive tried all the usual methods, and finally resorted to playing youtube in the background and alt-tabbing back into my game. If you just walk against the wall constantly the youtube videos will create lag and voila you magically teleport through it..

See that would require this being part of a patch note. Which it is not, so therefore it is part of the experimental discussion.. I mean right? Unless it was part of that last stable update and I missed it completely and still am missing it?

Download a 3rd party app like Motionjoy or Xpadder and use your gamepad through that. I dont believe its an overall issue as my friend was playing with his last night on experimental servers, and I use a Nostromo with no issues myself. So perhaps your drivers or something along those lines is posing an issue? Or its just a corrupt file perhaps... I dont know, good luck though. Try the app solution as the first time I connected mine to DayZ I had to do it that way and it worked out just fine.

You will next week when stable gets updated and exp. gets taken down.. or the week after that. Or next month. Anyhow, that is how exp. works lately. Its only up for a day or 2.. before the stable update. So dont get too comfy. ;)

So, I had an incredible night of luck and great fortune.. I missed that exp. updated yesterday until oh around dinner time. I was just sitting around doing pretty much nothing, but I had no idea it had updated until late in the day. So I finally hop on, Im having a great time. FInd an AKM, some blue camo pants, and a guy looting Elektro. He seems like a Noob and is getting overrun by Zeds so I ask him if he needs help. He says, "Yes.. thanks man there are so many of them" and of course while Im trying to help him he attempts to shoot me in the back of the head. I call him on his non-sense and tell him, "Look, its experimental. If you want something I have, you can have all of it. I just want to do some exploring without being killed for no good reason, okay?" So says he did not mean to shoot at me, it was an accident. I know he is lying to I say, "Alright then.. I just wanted to make sure you know you dont have to kill me. There is literally no reason." As I walked up and crouched next to him. He then, well you know what he did.. So I spawn fresh near the new City NE of Svetlo.. So Im thinking, not so bad.. Im sort of glad he shot me. Then it happens. My internet goes to complete shit. Disconnects, router issues, my ISP has decided that Friday night around midnight is a great time to do some maintenance. So I deal with that for the next hour. No internet, internet. Back and forth. Im starting to get really aggravated. But as I am finally walking into the new village that is next to the new large city I see another player. He is armed, and well.. I am already figuring its my time to die. But he turns out to not be in the killing mood and I tell him about the new City that he knows none of and I take him there. We are having a good time, and just as we are arriving at the town square with clock tower my internet drops again, or the server restarts and the new friend is lost. Internet troubles abound, but this time its rubberbanding. I find a fix quickly, and start leaving buildings slowly to stop the teleporting back to where I was issue. It works, and I make my way all the way to the NWAF. By the time I get there I have geared up almost all the way I was looking to. I finally found all the items to make a fire, and cook. I was just going to make one pass through the NWAF and then go log out for the night. I am literally about 3 tents from being done, running up to Bashnya and logging out there when a kind gentlemen comes running full speed into my tent with guns up. I hear it, am prepared and as I aim up at the door and have an obvious drop on him.... I EFFING HIT MY MOUSE SIDE BUTTON THAT IS MAPPED AS ESCAPE. My quit screen comes up, freezing my player, and allowing me to watch my attacker shoot 47 rounds into my legs and torso. I mean.. what does a guy have to do to do some testing in Experimental? lol.. Each time I found the AKM, I was dead in minutes. Im telling you, that thing is cursed.. CURSED! ;)

In an apocalypse I'd scatter my rod everywhere I could. B)

I cooked beans.. they got hot, and then cooled after about 10 minutes or so. And I forgot to open them first, so I was thinking I could not eat them hot.. such a noob mistake to not open them. Derpa derp. I have everything to cook with gas too, so Im trying that next after some hunting with my crossbow ;) Then my next goal is catch some fish. Got 2 hooks, and rope. Now just need to use my axe to find me some ash wood.

I think we should be able to place any item into our hands that can be placed on our person, much like how you can carry 2 rifles by placing 1 on your back and picking one up into your hands. All items should work this way without exception and most importantly BACKPACKS. I really think it would be nice to be able to find a new pack and place it in my hands to carry it (albeight you are slower and forced to have a backpack in your hands so it has its risks) to a safer place to switch my gear from my old pack to the new one. I hate that feeling you get when you find a pack you need, and you know its almost TOO risky to switch gear into it. Either the server may restart, or another player may walk up and shoot you while you're taking the time to swap all of your items. It would add a lot to be able to go into the bushes to perform this task.. I think the pack in your hands must be empty though to combat obvious issues. What do you think of being to place any item into your hands to be carried including backpacks?

This is a great option when you have the space.. ;)
