Ok, so I will describe what happened in picture format much like a childrens book or graphic novel.. Here it goes: Late one night, I came upon a man who had me cornered and shamefully that man perished. An omen seemed to hang over the night, something bad.. .. when things stopped working, and my player could only run around in a frozen world I knew something was amiss. So I traveled on, unable to use any of my tools or affect my world.. almost as if I was a ghost. I came upon a man, doing vile things while watching someone through a window. It was as if he could not even see me standing there.. I could not stand to stomach watching him any longer, and as he seemed to not notice my existence I moved on. My stomach churned and I felt like I may be sick.. So I ducked into a nearby restroom. After several minutes of retching I heard a sound.. like a song in the distance. Even though the sun could be seen in the West up high, when I looked out to the East this is what I saw.. As if Angels were descending upon me, the noise grew and grew. My ability to distinguish what it was diminished as the sound became louder. What once seemed to be a song, now felt like a pulsing from deep within my chest. Like the trees and grass were vibrating in tune with me. Then it happened.. everything went black. No message. No sounds. Just black. When I attempted to join a new server, my character screen loaded. I saw what I had become.. and I stared in awe. It seems I have become pure astral light. I am now one with everything. I can feel it all, moving in my veins. I am Chernarus. Each blade of grass. Every cry for help. This is the meaning of life. This is end game. ?

Its does not appear that much has changed, as exp is up.. still the same. Stable has a 5mb patch and is now on 44.123802 I spawned in, with all my same gear.. I doubt it changed much. If anyone sees anything about what they did.. let us know

Rocket already talked about finding out precisely what it was and a fix being looked into. Complex Navigational Geometry. So there is always hope.. always hope. They have a fairly large team now working on this stuff, and everyone should be all caught up with each other and over the whole transferring process that BIS had to go through with the new team being hired on.

Ive long thought that at least smokes would be fitting, sort of like it was in MGS where it helped your scope sway temp. for sniping but it brought your health down.. that would be nice. As for weed. I think having substances that alter your view and ability to walk properly would make the forcefeed/handcuff thing quite interesting as well as just giving players like the OP something to do in game. Natural selection at its finest.

Right click the cfg file, and ensure the read only box is unchecked, this will allow any ingame changes to be saved.

It would be nice to have local (500m-1km) sub channels included, so you could have private conversations amongst clan members and have it still not be quite private.. the savvy user could be close and listening in. :)
